Ubi is different than auto-enroll productThis quote from an article from yesterday (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/yourmon...utomakers-insurance-companies-share-data.html) references a company (Verisk) that collects data from Ford vehicles amongst others.
"And another data broker, Verisk, which similarly sells data to insurance companies, has access to data from millions of vehicles made by Ford, Honda and Hyundai."

ForScan works on the s650. You just need to find the right module to modify. If FORSCAN-like access is later achieved, it could be turned-off that way.
As @Decio mentioned, there are User Interface options available now.
Personally, I like the fuse. There's no way anyone is listening with it physically turned off.
Some find the module itself and remove it or disconnect it. It's whatever anyone is comfortable with. In the S550, the Telematics Control Unit is in the trunk. The cell antennas are in the left and right bumper sections.
Many of us can attest that it DOES work with the s650, but correct maybe not 100%.The Forscan website still indicates that the software does NOT work for 2024MY Fords. I am assuming that it means it doesn't currently support any NEW functionality.
I heard the same thing on the news.I thought I saw a thread about this a while ago, but could not find it. This is about the new "Smart Cars" that are sharing your driving habits data with data brokers and eventually your insurance companies.
Don’t forget each ‘qr’ code really says you agree to give them all your stuff.
