Yeah, there are so many things that Ford disabled from the factory. No clue why lol.
But luckily it's easy to enable it.
i have like zero knowledge in that field, should ford be able to do that?

I swear that a few weeks back I had zero knowledge too in that field and I thought I would never have knowledge in that field.

Now I know a lot more and it's very easy.
Yes a dealer can do it, but they will do it through their own software system en they will charge you for that.

If you buy a ODB cable that works with Forscan, you can do everything yourself as many times as you want and you will still have money left.

so don't know if you had the case but when I went to swap my winter tires to the summer ones, I asked the garage to check the brakes because I felt vibrations when braking at speeds above 60 km/h, turns out my brake pads are warped/veiled. Might have come from a dramatic temperature change like urgency braking while humid or raining. I remember the car doing an emergency brake on its own because the guy in front did not move when the light was green and it was humid/rainy wheather, so maybe it came from there.

Anyhow no security issues but super annoying when driving, changing the pads and the disc with labor would be 1700 CHF. Sadly not under warranty as it seems to stop at 1500km for disc/brake pads and mine has 2800km. The garage is offering me a 20% discount on the discs and no labor cost (I'll see in May what the real costs then are). I guess better than anything but would have not expected it to happen after only >2500 km...

A little question too: is there a way with the buttons on the steering wheel to select you different custom modes - meaning going from custom mode 1 to 2, or 3 and so on without going through the My Mustang menu to select which custom profile? Not super annoying to do but you take your eye off the road longer...

Yes use the mode change buttons on the left side of the wheel (silver coloured)

Brakes can be skimmed if warped but could easily be pad build up on the discs from sitting around, especially if put away wet. A few good hard braking sessions from speed should clean them up

I know you can choose the custom mode above the normal mode when using the silver button but does it enable you to go through all the custom profiles if you have several setup or is only meant for the last custom profile you setup?

No you can only have one custom mode active at a time
