Long tube headers on s650 GT really worth it without tuning?

Hey guys,

I know this question been asked many times in this form but haven’t gotten any solid responses. One of the YouTube videos recently showed adding Kooks long tube headers added 12 more hp with dyno test. So wondering without tuning available for s650 yet are they worth investing in headers for just sound without much on performance side?

I picked up 4MPH and over 3tenths…

thats a lot closer to 40RWHP not on a dyno, but average track runs.

It was my 3rd mod after springs and spacers… no better bang for your buck.
Not sure why they only gained 12whp on the dyno but track MPH don’t lie.

Appreciate your response. That video was from DRP Motorsport I believe. They hadn’t had any other mods just LTH. Do you think about 40RWHP you gained was combination of LTH, springs and spacers?

Bet they ran a before and after with different corrections. Sae vs std

Peak HP really isn't a great measure of the benefits of a mod (it's mostly bragging numbers), look at a full dyno graph and see how much it gives you in the lower end or over the entire range.

Springs and spacers do not add power. Just suspension.
