Thats good advice, If I didn't like the PP wheels that came on the car as much as I do id go for that and maybe will go that route in the future instead of changing anything suspension wise. Much easier to do wheels and tires. And 315's would look pretty awesome from the rear lol.
I loved the S650 PP wheels!!! I sold mine because the Pirellis are crap and wanted a wider tire....285/325
The other reason is that I hated cleaning them even though they were ceramic coated … next change out will be front brake pads to cut down on the dust..

Cleaning them is the 1 single thing I don't like about them. So many cracks and crevices. But they look great. Maybe one day ill swap them for something with a larger tire. I should definitely ceramic coat them, though.

No way would I ever lower my car. Was a Low Rider in my late teens and it was a Big B. Couldn't even get up my driveway without the rear end getting stuck. Had to slap it in neutral , lift the rear-ended, run and jump in the car to apply brakes. But Progressive springs do sound good. Would like non lowering ones. As for the exhaust lots of people like the stock. Some add a Steeda or Borla H-Pipe. They do give the car a deeper sound without drone. Was thinking of doing an H-Pipe for Mother in-law. I've heard the Borla S axla backs. They sound great without drone. Corso Touring sound mellower, but are much cheaper. The active exhaust is a good insurance policy when warming up, driving in the neighborhood, or just in the need of quiet. If worried about loudness I'd try a Borla or Steeda H-Pipe first. You could always replace it with the resonator if it doesn't suit your tastes. But it won't be raspy.

The PP wheels don't seem to show dust as much as the gloss black wheels on my last car.
One problem though, is that I can't get my wheel brush between the caliper and the rim to scrub dust off the inside. So I'll have to remove the wheels a couple of times a year to clean the calipers etc.
And, I'm fine with OCD, it keeps me busy.
