The Carmen has departed Port Kembla this morning so it will be interesting to find out somehow if the NSW cars were shipped from Port Melbourne on the Carmen.

Ok, so after another peek today, I’m starting to get a little excited. Lots of mustangs with a wiper up, which would indicate that these have been washed. Also saw a bunch of them lined up waiting to go into a shed (couldn’t get a photo of them as I was driving over the Westgate bridge but see photos below of (looks like) completed Mustangs.

Great news for Victorian buyers but not so good for us NSW buyers that are still waiting to hear if their cars have been shipped back to Port Kembla to get washed and delivered. Hi everyone
My dealer got an update today! He said that the NSW Mustangs that were on the docks at Melbourne are now at Port Kembla and waiting for cleaning.
Hopefully it won’t be much longer before we start seeing them at the dealerships. I won’t hold my breath waiting though.

My Sales Manager (Thomson Ford) recently indicated to me "we are expecting the Mustangs on the those 2 vessels arrive to us later this month."
At least they have all escaped the Republic of Victoria, and are in NSW where they belong, so hopefully not too much longer.
This has been such a frustrating comedy-of-errors ordeal, we should all have a get-together celebration !

Hi there. Yes, my dealer in Young says mine is in Pt Kembla after being shipped from Vic. The quarantine process is extremely thorough and he can’t give me any more info as to when it will be expected. Really hoping for this month. I was beginning to think maybe I’d imagined ordering it! We all seem to be in the same situation.

Hi Ivonovi. Haven’t heard anything yet. I was beginning to think I was the only one waiting. I’m going through a country dealer and they don’t seem to get updates from Ford. Saw one post where they were expected to be delivered this month.

Hi there. Told the same. I was beginning to think I’d imagined ordering it! Apparently, the quarantine process is very thorough owing to the specific seeds which they may have collected between Michigan and Baltimore. However, he did say that when they are released, they’ll be the cleanest cars on the the face of the Earth!

I just checked my vin against the Register of approved vehicles and it has been given an approval number.
