Hey everyone
I just checked my vin against the Register of approved vehicles and it has been given an approval number.
shouldn’t be long until it arrives at my dealership I guess, fingers crossed 🤞
Which ship were you on? Still nothing for me (was on Tortugas) :(

Slow alright
The Tosca was just of the east coast of Australia at the end of December and thanks to contamination, dock workers strike and Ford Australia’s decision to have the mustangs delivered to Melbourne so they could bake in the sun and salt air for a couple of months then back to Port Kembla here we are hopefully only a week or two away from delivery.

I've got a MY25 on the way, was on Carmen and is now off the docks at Melbourne and at the dealers yard in Campbellfield. They're telling me I'll get it next week.

Ford should be selling us these 2024 models at a reduced price because they are in fact technically 12 months old and we will be disadvantaged financially at the time of resale.

It may not be obvious now but if the owners decide to sell their vehicle in say 2028 it will be 4 years old and not 3 years old and therefore worth less than old mate that receives his 2025 model before your 2024 model. Dealers will try to tell you it makes no difference to the resale value but they are full of crap.

I replied back to the Letter I received from the Ford CEO.. basically making the same point. The response from Ford was... tough, but not our problem.

You are quite correct. I’m going g over mine with a fine tooth comb before I part with anymore money. It’s in Pt Kembla as well. Ford Australia seem to treat dealers and customers with contempt. They refuse to give any updates whatsoever even as an estimated wait for quarantine approval.

I wrote them an official complaint and Sunday and heard nothing but then the RAV approval came through yesterday. Not sure if it's a coincidence or the actually did something..

Hi everyone
I received a call from my dealer this morning and he said he had been notified that my car was ready for transport from the 17/03/25. He hasn’t had any notification that the car has been picked up by the transport company yet so it will hopefully arrive next week sometime. Yay 🎉🍺🍺🍺🍺

After outlining my concerns about the extended exposure to the corrosive nautical elements, I recently requested a series of under car photos on major components when Servicing the car Pre-Delivery, to confirm the absence of any damage or corrosion. They were quite OK with that.
