Just returned from the Mustang Unleashed course at the Ford Performance Racing School (at Charlotte Motor Speedway) and thought I'd share this 8-minute video summary and a few pics of my experience (that's me in the #27), to give prospective attendees an idea of what to expect if you select the road course option. The YouTube video includes in-car footage from all the driving events. The Dark Horse Mustangs are configured with Road Keeper dual-cam in-car video systems, and I included some of my lap footage in my video. But the Ecoboost and GT cars for the morning events are not equipped with dash cams, so I mounted a phone camera to the windshield for those events and have included some of that footage in my video as well.
The course was worth the trip. The instructors and staff are top-notch. Learned a few things about my 2024 GT, enjoyed mingling with fellow Mustang owners, and had a great time. Of course, driving the Dark Horse on the (modified) Roval was the highlight of the day, and the instructor's demo lap was intense (it's included in my video). If you get an opportunity to attend, do it. You won't regret it.
