Wow. Thanks for sharing. My first vehicle build order ever. Had no idea. There are 5 or 6 similar pony’s across the USA but all have black interior vs the grey we chose. Wanting to road trip across Canada as soon as it arrives.

Builds for March already scheduled. April builds should get scheduled later this month, so hopefully you will get scheduled for April.

Build dates are sliding back. In January was advised scheduled week of Feb 24. Friday advised this had fallen back two weeks to week of March 10.

Mine just slid to the right by two weeks also. From week of March 3rd to week of March 17th. Actually works out well for me and another week or two would fit my pickup availability even better.
GT Convertible, ordered Jan 2nd.

Mine was ordered Jan 17 with a build date of March 17. A week later they bumped my build date to March 10. Expecting an April or May delivery.

Your Dealer should have the information you requested.
I ordered our 2024 GT 401-A on February 19, 2024.
My salesman keep me informed all the way after receiving a Vin #.
Please call the Ford Customer Service number which I forgot
They can help you out.
I called every week.
When our Mustang GT was shipped, my salesman tracked it from flat rock to Chicago to Kansas City to Denver by Rail Car number.
They can track it on their computer where your can’t.

Received text and email from Ford yesterday on 45th day from order acknowledgement date. Text saying "We're still confirming the schedule build date for your mustang ecoboost,. we will keep you updated".
The email was much the same with the last heart stopping "We'll continue updating you, at least every 45 days, regarding the progress of your vehicle's production status."
Received text from dealer this morning. "Looks like the 18 inch wheels and tires (standard) holding up your build."
My response "Really?"

i'm an old newbee to this. Any one have info on the 18" wheel/ tire situation or how changing the wheel selection would impact my order?

I saw that there was limited availability on those wheels in February, but looks like those were projected to be available in March. They probably be scheduling next week for April builds, so hopefully you will hear something next Thursday or Friday.
