Recall 24E05 - BCM Needs Reconfiguration?

I had this recall done last Friday and as far as I can tell nothing has changed. Auto Stop/Start still does not work.

I have a "Mobile" appointment with my dealer in a little over a week. The car does NOT need to be at the dealer. They said it should take no more than an hour done in my driveway.
I run my car in "Sport" mode all the time, so Start/Stop never kicks in.

I have a manual 2024 DH and I don't think the standards came with start stop mine has never done it. I thought it was like the remote rev automatics only. But I may be wrong. Maybe I can turn it on somewhere on the screen?

Early 2024 models don’t have auto start/stop. The job 1 cars, for example, don’t even have the button on the dash. The place where the button would be is blank. My DH, for example, does not have the auto start/stop functionality installed from the factory. Ford changed that early into 2024 but cars built in late 2023 (mine) don’t have it at all.

My Dark Horse was built in August 2023 if I remember correctly and is manual and it does not have auto stop/start. Thank God.

I have the start/stop system but it has yet to shut down. I put the S/S system status in my gage cluster it say " system normal when driving but when I stop it says changing. It thinks that the volts are low or something to that effect. I got $1k off MSRP so I will live with it inop.

Looks like they fixed whatever caused it to not work on the first go. I had it done originally during my service around end of July, but it's been flagged as incomplete again for my VIN.

Yup, got mine on the ford app today. The auto start stop has never worked and I don't want it to. So is there a downside to skipping this BCM recall ?
