Good to see one here for real but it's a shame the first in the country is a grey automatic, like just about every other new car in the UK

Anyone local to the new delivery going to see if they will let you test drive it?

Also a shame the first car in the UK is dealer stock when those of us waiting for 7 months still don't have our cars.

I assume it 'should' be a dealer demo car, but looks to me like they are just going to sell it as soon as they can. Anybody with a grey GT on order would do well to grab it rather than wait any longer, especially if you are not in the first batch of cars!

Didn't take them long to list it on autotrader, not a customer order it seems.
The discount is a little fake as i've built up the same car in the ford config and it's £60,675 and not £61,042
The 7 miles is also a lie when it has 29.2 on it in one of the pics and 1% fuel

At least the base GT price hasn't gone up since feb unlike the DH's

Live Chat seem to have gone dumb on transit details all of a sudden!

I'm hoping my car was on the Atlantic Sail that left on the 31st August arriving on 18th September which fits in with the ETA, otherwise the next ship is on the 13th September arriving 2nd October which would mean very late October to the dealer. Still doesn't explain why the car sat at flat Rock for over 2 months!

The Sail isn't going to Antwerp, your car would have to get off at Liverpool to make that timing and skip the northern Europe tour.

My car sat at Newark for nearly 2 months there was a log jam somewhere (Euro cars were being held in Antwerp / Cologne for a while) although it entered Newark again 10 days before departure (never showed up on vista)

If live chat updated the system and then your dealer pulled that info it's likely still sat in Newark.
As to make that timing with the euro tour it would have to arrive in Belgium on the Sun in a weeks time.
Did live chat only have the Target Delivery Date ? which is the only thing not updating on vista ?

I think your car was sat at Flat Rock like mine for 2 months rather than Newark. I thought your car arrived at Newark in July and then was loaded within 10 days or so.

That is odd as ACL tracker suggests Atlantic sail is going to Antwerp

My dealer got notification my car had arrived at a port on 14th August which he thought was UK but now clear it was Newark on the 13th. They don't seem to hang around there for long so my car could be on the 22nd sailing. His logistics team have said he should contact them later this week for an update

That's bizarre since it's the same website!
It did take a long time to load for me so it could of glitched, as showing dublin and belfast was a bit odd.
Vista originally showed it arriving at Newark on 31st May.
Then i spoke to live chat and they said it arrived 8th July, checked with my dealer and it had left on 18th July.

I have just checked with live chat today and they only have the TDD of 3rd August. Which is a change i guess ... Will see if that updated vista again.

Edit - Just checked there system again and i think it's a glitch the sail doesn't stop in ireland but it doesn't know how to put blank boxes in. The other ships will be stopping there.

If you look at some of those dates they don't make any sense. The Atlantic Sun was in Belfast and Dublin on the same day!

Logistics were adamant that my car was on the 'next sailing' when he contacted them on the 29th August, which fits in with the 31st Departure, which then fits in with the 12 October at the dealer.

My dealer doesn't seem to be able to access logistics stuff, however Rates can and they're being very helpful despite it not being their sale!
Looks like my car is stuck in customs at Flushing for now and thus didn't join the rest that left last week.
He has a detailed history of it's recent movements. Hopefully he can track it back to the factory and see what really happened!

Would be really useful if your contact could find out more about my car too

1 week will be cars already in the UK and the others would have just arrived at flushing. Hopefully mine gets released by customs soon.

Yes the stock list varies. There was a car with identical spec to mine (almost certainly my original order) but that has gone now, so somebody must have reserved it.

Probably shouldn't bother him with sales that he's not involved in ...
I only enquired how long there car spent in Flushing for comparison and they've gone above and beyond in hunting it down including attempting to find out what the customs hold up is and keeping track of it and is going to let me know when it's released.

Attached is proof that ford do have a way of tracking vehicles. (The pasted history earlier came from the same system) i've asked him what its called to see if my dealer has access to it!

That would be very useful as dealers seem to be really struggling to get info on Mustangs

Fair enough not wasting his time if our own dealers can access it.
