It seems that some Ford dealers are advertising the 2024 Mustangs on their websites before they actually receive them on their lots. My dealer has my order listed for sale on the website. Not a similar car, my VIN. Until the sale goes through, it's not mine so they have every right to list it, like I can get my deposit back if the terms fall through at the end.

Not thrilled that they are using "my" car as click bait, but I get it.

Yeah, mine is a management lease that I ordered in February. It was built on 6/12, it's been sitting at Ramp 59 since the middle of July. Even as an employee, I have no more clarity than anyone else on this forum as to why they're being held or when they're expected to be released.

1. Cars are not shipping and will not begin shipping until someone on this thread can show a date under the "built" section of the tracker.
2. Nobody has more information than this forum (at least that's willing to share) regarding delivery of our Stangs. No, Ford chat doesn't know anything special, no your dealer that sells 15 mustangs a year doesn't know anything special, and no, some random website find certainly doesn't know anything special. There's also a few forum members that claim to know something special but clearly don't either
3. Dealer websites auto generate with stock and custom order cars, regardless if they are sold or not. This happens with generally all manufacturers.
4. The title of this thread is hot garbage and all delivery threads should be merged into one

There are no S650s that have been shipped from the plant that are for customers/dealer stock. We will all collectively find out once that begins because it will be a huge deal. As of right now, all of them are sitting at the plant.
