Does the dealer need to install child seat anchors if requested

No, they should be installed from the factory before it leaves the line. Look in the owners manual, it shows you where and what to look for.

There are two small slits in the back seat for the anchors.

The plastic cover at the top of this picture pops open for the upper mount.

I know where they are, however there is nothing there . Nothing to hook to . Help

Slightly different in the S650 but the Isofix points should be there. Proper plastic surrounds now rather than just slits in the seat. Maybe European seats are different ?
