agreed, it’s more than a bit annoying. usually I’m belted in pretty quick though.

Yep, but if there was an option to not ever get the screen i'd be happy. If you even pull on the Seatbelt, the Drivers seat icon turns green and then you can cycle through other menu items. If unbuckled, you CAN NOT hit the ok button to dismiss until it’s satisfied, from what I’ve experienced.
IDK of a way - maybe FORSCAN but as a workaround:Yep, but if there was an option to not ever get the screen i'd be happy.
The idiot light is plenty to remind me.
Oddly i tried putting on the belt before starting. The belt screen still shows up...IDK of a way - maybe FORSCAN but as a workaround:
belt up before hitting start.
More than likely it was Ford's legal team.Yeah, the more I see that seat belt splash, the more I think it’s Ford’s EV team got recruited to contribute to the electronics and this is their ICE Mustang “F U "
I literally just posted about this - #13Seatbelt Warning Programming Procedure
Make sure that:
• The parking brake is set.
• The transmission is in park (P).
• The power is off.
• You close all vehicle doors.
• The driver and front passenger
seatbelts are unfastened.
1. Switch the power on. Do not start your
vehicle.
2. Wait about one minute until the
seatbelt warning light switches off.
After Step 2, wait an additional five
seconds before proceeding with Step
3. Once you start Step 3, complete the
procedure within 30 seconds.
3. For the seating position you are
switching off, buckle then unbuckle the
seatbelt three times at a moderate
speed, ending in the unbuckled state.
After Step 3, the seatbelt warning light
switches on.
4. When the seatbelt warning light is on,
buckle then unbuckle the seatbelt.
After Step 4, the seatbelt warning light
flashes for confirmation.
This switches the feature off for that
seating position if it is currently on.

Mine turns off (post 24) I did nothing. My build date is May 2024 so maybe they updated it. I took this straight from the online owners manual.I literally just posted about this - #13
Your step 2 did not work in my Dark Horse. Every time I waited and tried the procedure, it failed. I ended up on youtube, and found some consistency in various models in the procedure so I tried some variations of them and the step by step I posted worked in my ’24.
Did you use the above procedure, or did you get it from somewhere? it’s very possible it could be different in an older model or even earlier models in a model year if a programming change was done to a module. And there’s no guarantee it will work, as I mentioned on my ’17 Raptor, a Nov. ’16 build, the seat belt chime could not be suppressed by the Ford procedure. My tech and his senior tech even tried it, so I ended up turning it off in FORSCAN.
