Hi everybody,

I have a US import GT on which the sequential turn signals are deactivated. I assume the importer changed them to comply with local laws. Can anybody have a look at their HCM module and send me the codes so that I can check if something is different. My car is a premium GT if this matters.
Thanks!

Usually you can just get a secondary sequence module that is plug-and-play for the turn signals. Not sure if they changed the connectors for 2024 but the old connectors were the same going back all the way to 2010. If it isn't available now more likely they will be available soon.

I managed to get the rear sequential turn signals working.
It was disabled (set at 0) at the BCMB:
7B7-03-01 x*xx xxxx -- 0=LEDSM No sequencing 1=LEDSM sequencing mode #1

Now I am missing only the front sequential turn signals.

Sweet! Livnitup added it to the common tab of the FORScan sheet here. If you figure out anything else, please share so we can add more stuff to it.

Not yet, I am hoping that someone can send me backups of their HCM and BCM Modules.
If I got news, I will post it here.

@GK292 could you please send pictures of the connectors that plug in to the headlights? also, can you PM me your VIN? i suspect that the programming of the LDCMA/B or BCM has been modified but i spent hours trying to disable my sequential front turn signals so i could find the source. i also just want to make sure that you know the front turn signals light up fully then deplete the inner, middle, then outer bar, right? its not the same kind of sequential as the rear lights

Yeah I know about the sequentials in front.

I will try to make some pictures for you once I am back home (Wednesday). Do you also want some forscan backups of the modules?

Thanks for your help

an update for those watching this thread, i checked and tested on my Mustang various differences in GK292's BCM, BCMB, BCMC, HCM, LDCMA, and LDCMB, but nothing seemed to recreate the issue. they also mentioned the indicator being laggy and not smooth. i ran out of possible ideas

It´s been a while, but I found out how they disabled my front sequential turn signals. I have a manual from my dealer how they disabled them, it's in German but I assume ChatGPT or DeepL will translate it quickly for you.
Basically they took off the control module from the headlight housing off (the one with the aluminium cooling fins in the back), added a wire to each LED segment of the turn signal and connected them, so that all 3 segments get power when you activate the turn signal. The removal was easy, I didn't even had to remove the front bumper. The Module can be accessed through wheel well.
There are several pictures in the manual. I hope this might help other people with the same problem.

glad you were able to undo their wiring hacks. that definitely explains why the turn signal was acting odd. given their quality of work on this, i would be very concerned about what other work they do on imports
