Hey everyone, I have a 2024 GT with active exhaust. I'm planning to install a Steeda H-pipe soon. Will the car be much louder in quiet mode with the H-pipe? I live in a condo and want to avoid excessive noise. I know that Sport/Track mode is way louder but not sure about quiet mode with the H-pipe.

Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had the Steeda H pipe on mine for about 3 months and really liked it. I've had the AWE Switchpath since December, so I went back to look at my previous comments about it since couldn't recall exactly what I thought of the volume difference. Here's what I said in that thread:

Update on the Steed H pipe now that I’ve been driving it a couple of days. It is definitely louder than stock. Quiet mode there isn’t too much difference and at idle it’s only a mild increase in volume. At moderate to high RPM there is a very noticeable increase in volume. Cruising in normal mode is again only a mild increase in volume, but you can hear a difference when you get on the throttle to pass. Cold starts are quite a bit louder than stock until the car idles down. If I had to compare the volume I would guess that normal mode is now about the same volume as track mode before the H pipe. I really like the sound with the H pipe especially at idle with the deep rumble that is just a little louder than stock.

What Krisk said, lol, he's 100% correct.

Just installed mine on stock active exhaust. I fire up in a two-car garage which is separated by a wall with my closest neighbor. I have quite start programed for mornings (quite mode "seems" closer to normal mode) but asked my neighbors for feedback over dinner the other night. None could say they noticed a big difference (the caveat being they are somewhat more tolerant than others in the neighborhood). My closest neighbor said she didn't realize what I was talking about :)

Beyond that, I second all the positive feedback you've gathered on the forum.

Track WOT...um, plenty of descriptive characterizations out there but if there was such a thing as an aggressive, muscular American exotic quality, the steeda H-Pipe achieves it.

I pulled the trigger and bought the Steeda H-pipe today. I will post videos of the sound when it is installed.

The initial rpm hike on start up will be drastically louder than stock, even in quiet mode.

The WOT pulls, as you mentioned, will be significantly louder, too.

There's some addition of rasp through the deletion of the resonators, but I personally find it to be enjoyable.

We traditionally go with a resonator delete to start, but switched it up to the AWE Switchpath instead and it sounds amazing.

If you're looking for a simple and cheaper mod, though, the Steeda H pipe is a fantastic choice.

I agree. The Steeda H pipe sounds good and is relatively inexpensive; however, I love the AWE Switchpath I have been running for the last seven months.

……. 🤪🤪🤪

Enjoy that H Pipe. It gives a Great sound and fits the S650’s aggressive looks.

Not gonna open this up but skirt the topic. Soooooo many others have said that the H Pipe DOES NOT give ā€œRaspyā€ notes but I’m sure that it’s there at some RPM positions.
I’ll just leave it at that. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

It absolutely does at WOT.
