Supercharger pricing

I’m new to the whole world of v8s and superchargers. I’m mainly wondering why the 2024 pro charger kit is $2000 more then the 2023 I would guess they aren’t that much different.

If you could tune the damn 2024's on your own you could do a $6,000 centrifugal kit

I understand it should be a bit more expensive but I mean it’s one more intake added to the price and the flash tool should kinda cancel out is my thought process.

I agree, but that's how life goes. At least you know how it works and you can take advantage from this and invest your money in something that also goes up in price.

I had many friends and collegues that told me 12 years ago that they wanted to buy a house, but they didn't want to pay that much and were waiting for a good year to buy it.
Well, we are 15 years further and they are still waiting to buy a house while the prices doubled.

I accepted it many many years ago that this is how life is. It will never be cheaper.
I retired and moved to a cheaper country to have a better life.

Go look at the new C8 corvette procharger kits… like 20grand.

the whipple is such a bargain I don’t know why people even bother looking past it.

I came from a focus st I’m used to the $2000 big turbo upgrades. I’m just need to convince myself to spend it

Because Ford has locked the ECU and no one has been able to crack it, only companies that play by Ford’s rules can create tunes. Whipple, Roush, and ProCharger. I have no idea how much it costs those companies to get Ford’s blessing but it for sure is not cheap.

IF the ECU ever gets cracked, then you will see cheaper SC and turbo kits come out. Man putting a $6-7k ESS on would be for the best hahah but it’s not possible rn

Heck the ProCharger kit was announced and shown a long time ago and it’s still not in the public’s hands yet

I emailed ESS not to long ago and they said it was in development but no eta they said. That’s what I’m waiting on

If the power is ok for you for now just keep waiting/saving. Then if it ever comes out it won’t be a big hit on your wallet

I just hate spending money. I could buy a whipple at the moment but I think my heart would explode.
