Took my Dark Horse to Sebring Raceway

I took the dark horse to Sebring this weekend and had a blast. Tried a new line through turn 1 that was probably a huge mistake. Have a lot of work to do on carousel and turn 17 too, but I’m still proud of it!

Was just at Sebring again 2 weeks ago, suck a great and challenging track I love it and can't get enough. I really try working on just 1 or 2 turns each time as there's so much to take in...and the most important part of any track day, having fun!

For now just the stockies. Totally adequate. I am using RBF 660 brake fluid though. When these pads are near dead I’ll find an alternative.

I used the stock pads also with RBF 600 when I went to Daytona last year. Worked well for me also, it was my first track event so I wasn't going for the world record or anything lol.

Welcome to the Sebring fun club! Getting the lines right at that track is definitely the biggest key to lower lap times.

I'm not sure if you saw our drive around Sebring, but we also conducted some testing. Check out how Glen improved some of his cornering in the Dark Horse!

What are you using for your data recorder?

I used the stock pads also with RBF 600 when I went to Daytona last year. Worked well for me also, it was my first track event so I wasn't going for the world record or anything lol.

RBF600 is a great fluid. Very cheap for how good it is. I always used it in my Miata. I get the impression the DH brakes get way hotter though. I was split between RBF660 and 700, but 660 was a lot less expensive and held up great even cranking out ten laps in a row.

I’m using TrackAddict Pro, and the OBDII data is coming from a Carista plug in.
