It's still strange they did away with it in the armrest and kept the power outlet which is absolutely useless for most people. My wife's new Hyundai has like 6 USB ports.

The nice part about having the power plug is that you can get a higher charge rate plug adapter... as the old usb port was a low charge rate.

*edit* in fact I have one of those adapters in another car right next to its slow charging built in usb port.

When you open the armrest it is right there in the storage area. Just pop open the cover on it. It is right there in the picture that you posted earlier.

Where is that power outlet? Did you guys remove the plastic wall inside the armrest to inspect it?

OMG, you really were talking about that?
Well that was obvious that thing is there.
🤣🤣🤣🤣

I thought you were talking about some extra power outlet that was hidden behind the cover since you were talking about the USB port that was not there anymore, but the power source was still there. So I thought you found any power sourche of that USB port somewhere behind the panels.

Will the car play music off of a USB drive in the USB A port by the wireless charger? I don’t have an S650 but I’m curious. I usually just load all my music on a USB drive and play it from there instead of putting everything on my phone and using CarPlay.

All USB C ports should be fast charge. The power plug outlets require an adapter to USB that typically is not fast charge.
