So i have tried changing all codes and the seat belt image stays on the screen
Again, seats are gone and no chimes. I have not found an option on the easy mode to change it. I'm using Free Troal Forscan, does that make a difference?
Easy mode is not for this. You should change values yourself. In easy mode there are different lines that change at once and if you don't know what it does exactly, it will change lines without you knowing wich line it changed.

Just reset your as built as factory and start over again by doing asbuilt mode instead of easy mode.

Most of us are using free trial forscan. After 2 months you can create a new 2 month trial over and over.

I've updated as built several times, but no change. I did not save orginal as built, only wrote down values. So, getting rid of image is only issue when scrolling through display. At least it doesn't pop up on start up.

Check on https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt

Fill in your VIN and see if these have your factory settings. Mine showed me my factory settings, even after having changed a few things a while ago.

I downloaded as built from that site before, but I could not open, so i deleted. I assume Forscan can read that downloaded file, so I download again.

I don't know if Forscan can read that file. But what I know is that the file contains your factory settings and it is worth to save it instead of deleting it.

The fact that you deleted that file that quick gives me the feeling that you shouldn't play with Forscan at all before reading a manual on how forscan works.

There are video's on youtube to show you.

Thanks. I guess I'll download and place in Forscan folder, where Forscan saves as built data.

Don't change anything untill you know how Forscan works.

My guess is that you changed the wrong value. It can happen to the best of us and since you are new in this, that might be the case.

Wait... in the list of gauges you have to display, do you still have the seat belt status specified?
That’s something you eliminate or select via your gauges option in the main gauge display. Just de-select it.

that’s not a FORSCAN issue, you’re telling the car you want to see that as a selectable option and it’s the default if it is specified IIRC, followed by trip meter and it resets every ignition cycle. So, if you do not de-select it, the display will always be there.

Duh !! Thanks, that did it. Also, deleted a couple others.

I bought the DH used, so someone else set things up. So far the car has told me to Pull Over and rest, tried to kill me going aggressively around corners and cruise control slowed car down and no amount of pedal would increase speed.

I guess it's time to take the Cobra for a ride, manual steering, brakes and trans, AND no electronics, including radio.
