Due to continuing contacts within elements of the US intelligence community (INSCOM and "them") I was able to obtain video of one of @roket 's illicit commutes to Vegas for "unknown purposes". Over the years/decades the MSP have maintained small numbers of muscle cars (mustang GTs, Camaro Z28s amongst others) for interceptor duty. Not sure, what if anything, they currently have in inventory. And, just about every year they conduct police vehicle dynamic testing at Gratten Raceway or one of the manufacturers testing grounds to decide their upc9oming vehicle mix.

Being ~24 miles from the US/Mexico border, I'm sure their budget is largely, if not completely, funded by drug-related forfeitures. No taxpayer dollars spent.

i found out for sure today. MSRP plus tax for ~$81k, paid for by some state program apparently? not sure of the details, but every AZ resident contributed approx 1 cent to it sounds like
