I ordered this Mustang because of the shit show the local Chevy dealers were giving me trying to order a new Camaro SS.

Sort of my story as well, but I am glad I went the Mustang route after all is said and done.

I'd get a manual Corvette. I know AWD and DCT options are more performant, but I want to be integral part of the performance equation. Even knowing it means slower times. If a car has AWD, I'm not interested it's not for me.

I wanted a two door coupe with big naturally aspirated V8 and that list is pretty small. Other option I considered was a lightly used BMW M850i, Its a turbo v8 but it's pretty f'n fast. I've had other german cars and the lack of dealerships and places to get it serviced/warranty work was a big negative. There's at least four ford dealers between me and the nearest BMW dealer.
