Might be too early to ask but I was curious if we have an idea what will change color wise for 2026 MY. My wife and I like Vaper Blue (or Velocity Blue on s550) but not ready to drop money on a toy just yet.

Yea, sometime this Summer. Dealer awareness, Order Guides and other sales materials will need to be published and made available before order banks are opened. Production on most models as soon as October. HP-type cars would be built as soon as March/April next year.

If I recall correctly, the 2025 info came out in late July of 2024. I was waiting to see if the Grabber Blue color would be available for the '25 model year. That's when I learned that my hopes were answered. I wasn't happy with the 2025 price bump, but joining the Mustang Club, and getting X-plan pricing, took a bit of the sting out of that. Though, my dealer said that that the deal would have been similar anyway. Your experience will vary.

X-plan was not available for you if you ordered the 2024 model? Cause if it was, the X-plan wouldn't make any difference right?

X plan is not some huge discount off MSRP, you could probably negotiate that price at a good dealership

What the X plan gets you, and why it is worth the $35 dollars to join MCA 90 days before you pay for the car,is it severely limits the "Doc Fee" a dealer can charge you.

If you are in someplace like NH where the Doc fee is say $499, you save about $300, but in Florida where I have seen Doc fees run $1200. Even my local dealer here in Fort Myers is almost $1000

My 2024 GT Premium ragtop was about 2 grand off MSRP plus a $75 dollar Doc fee

What is 2026 MY? Is that like a big software update?
No, every year or so, Ford does some changes.

New colors for example. People are hoping for new colors to order on their Mustang.

But not only new things can be added. They can also delete options that were previously standard, like the wireless charging.

But the best thing of all is, they can remove options that come standard, and ask extra money if you want to add them.

So yeah, a new model year can be considered as a new way to scam us 🤣🤣🤣
