How else would the HP come, packed in the trunk or something ?

Kinda. Yeah. The fender flares, front splitter, and gurney flap get installed before delivery at the dealer. Unless you request it not to be. That tech will take the free time of saying he did it all day.

So the suspension components will be installed at the factory, yes. Procedures may change, but these (see attached) are the items that arrived in the interior or trunk when Skye arrived.

As part of the receiving and inspection process, the dealer installed the splitter (ships loose, so no damage on/off transport) and the Gurney flap. The rest was either given to me at signing or left in the trunk.

Fender flares are shipped to the Parts Department (box has VIN on it). Sometimes they arrive on time. Others, weeks later.

YMMV.

Has anyone else not received their longer bolts for the wicker? Do ya'll think it would be safe to just use the shorter ones or no ?
I do understand this was months ago. I had the opposite problem. When the dealer installed the Gurney flap, they used the correct screws. I later discovered they kept or chucked the shorter ones. Not big deal. There was a PN# for one item, both long and short; I bought that.

Attached is a pic of the procedure for the 550 wicker. Me? I'd use longer when installing the wicker.

*For those of you putting yours on/off, be mindful of the screws. DO NOT put the long screws back in the spoiler end after the flap is removed. You risk going to far and cracking the spoiler.

Ima have to bitch at the tech that did my PDI. That or see if they are in his loose screws and clips drawer. Thanks! I almost never remove mine unless it’s for long drives. I left em out for a 1000 mile road trip and didn’t have any issues.
