The dealers all seem to be confused over this Ford "embargo" - I've been to 3 different dealerships in the last couple of days and they all have a different stance - the first guy had a Mustang under a full cover in the middle of the showroom, but said he couldn't show me (He did lift the front and rear corners for a sneak peek - it was a black Dark Horse). It was being delivered the next day and he said he had already delivered a GT that morning.
The second dealership had a Grey Ecoboost on full display in the showroom, and a Rapid red GT in the yard that hadn't been PD'd yet.
The morons I stopped in at this morning denied the existence of any Mustangs and would not believe that other dealerships were retailing cars...

It looks like it will pot luck when some people will get their cars - even if they have landed here.

I'm in the same situation. Regional SEQ. Ordered GT manual around October 2023.
Got an email in May with my NSC Order number. That's it. Nothing since. And my dealer is telling me nothing. No build date. No boat. Nothing.
It's quite distressing.
Was in same spot, dealer sent screen shot last Friday, build date 6th sept, available for pick 27th Dec.....that's were season up this way so think it will be January.....even have a vin now

The VIN is usually allocated before Segmentation and therefore the Build, and will be listed on your Order Status file.

It seems your dealer is sitting on it, so ask them to email an Order Status Screenshot, which will have all your info including the Ship name if already allocated.
Dealer sent me a SS and the VIN was blank. My contract has a VIN from prior to the reschedule but nothing in the system now.

This sounds like what happened to a lot of us earlier this year.
Around Oct 2023 we were allocated a VIN and NSC for a MY24.

Forget when but during Q1 this year, delay after delay, those were cancelled and new VINs and NSCs were allocated to reflect being pushed back to MY24.50.

Not unreasonable to expect that some here, who previously had an allocation, will be pushed back to MY25 with a new VIN and NSC to follow.

Thanks, saved me responding :)

The Dealer will be happy. Are you sure it is not sitting as Display Point Car in the Showroom?
