Well after chatting to the dealership and Ford Australia, it appears my order is gone. While we were all pleasant, neither could provide a satisfactory answer as to how a day 1 order and an existing NSC drops off into the void. 2 years of wasted time!

Congrats to all that managed to get a Dark Horse. I'm just thankful I hadn't sold my existing Mustang ahead of time.

Surely they are not going to just leave it at that.

Have they offered another vehicle - for instance a dealer ordered car, or even given you some priority if there are cancellations etc.? They must be offering something to get this back on track.

If you need an advocate to help get a solution for you, I have someone in mind

As far as I know, that doesnt work for non-US vehicles.

Stopped into Valiants dealer on the Gold Coast this morning and they had a Vapour Blue GT sitting there - first time seeing the colour in the flesh and I gotta say I'm pleased I went that way - it looks so good on the car...
Would love to have those plates too...

Im a black car man, alll the way but if i was to gwt a s650 it would be this one or the darkhorse colour

There wont be 1000 Dark Horses on Ship1. Australia is getting a total of 1000. I've heard rumors of it being cut to 700. Mine is built, but still in Baltimore awaiting shipping so its not on that ship.

The last update I got was last week Thursday when there was no vessel yet in Vista. The car was still in Baltimore. At least the ETA dropped a bit. It used to be 2 Nov, but the latest ETA in Vista is 26 Oct. I'm hoping that means it will be on a ship soon. Any updates on your car?

I finally got my first Vista Order Status Screen-Shot yesterday - Serialisation scheduled for 30/09/24, with ETA 06/01/24. So hopefully I should get my Atlas Blue - before it is deleted with the MY25 (from 04/11/24)

Up until a couple of weeks ago I still had not even got an Allocation!

Awesome! Double win. I reckon an Atlas blue GT will look fabulous. That would have been my color of choice for a GT for sure.

Love that spec!! The colour really pops off the black accents too, tremendous. I haven't seen many/any Aus delivered GT's with the rear wing specc'd, seems like most prefer the wingless look?

Can't get a spoiler on the S650 if fitted with the Nite pony pack in aus. Only way to get a spoiler is option the appearance pack which gives you stripes / wing. But cannot be ordered together with Nite Pony pack.

And you cant get the appearance pack if you have MagneRide or Reccaro's... Weird how these things work!

My S650 GT has the black pack & Recarro's specc'd, and I really want the wing so my dealer just ordered the GT wing separately as an accessory, and will fit it when it lands. I just thought more people would have done the same! My S550 has a wing too, I just think it adds so much to the car, in my opinion!
