1. As you stated you probably won't be adjusting it. Mine is set and I will probably never move it. I am happy to not have one more electronic/electric gadget that will someday break.

2. Never thought of this because I just hit the "button" on the screen.

3. From the Owner's Manual:
REBOOTING THE CENTER DISPLAY
You can reboot the center display using the controls on the steering wheel.
1. Simultaneously press and hold the seek forward and audio system power button for 10 seconds.

4. Never thought of this. The radar sensor is behind the lower grille. It could probably act as a sensor for parking, if that is what you are interested in. (I have no idea how you would do that.)
Everyone complains about #1, but it's regulatory. Not happening any time soon. Love your write up btw I have similar first world problems with the car. @Lakersfreak

1) no power seat for the back portion. I already knew this and probably won't be a big deal since I probably won't be adjusting the seat now that it's set to a perfect spot, but have to point it out since it makes zero sense in my brain. I can go forward, back, up and down, but i have to manually tilt the back. Why?
Because itā€™s not a Lincoln.

3) my screen froze on my second drive. The touch screen wasn't working at all. I had to turn off the car and back on so it would work again. Any hints for this? What if I'm on a long drive and I can't stop to turn the car of and on? Is there a way to reset the screen while driving?
it froze during the drive? weird.
Iā€™ve had it spontaneously reboot when I hung up a phone call.
The Sync system is not tolerant of you issuing commands before full start up. I forgot this last weekend in my Raptor, had pre-started remotely got in, hit start and immediately hit the Nav screen button. Oops.

Was stuck on the nav screen with no way to change it, no audio control, but audio sound. Like you I could not remember the sync3 reboot sequence and just used my phone to navigate.
She was definitely mad at me because the radio station that was on, played NOTHING but commercials, songs I didnā€™t like, songs that are currently being overplayed, more commercials, more songs that get overplayed, more songs I donā€™t like until we got to where we were going.
Stopped for 15-20m to pick some things up, got in and let sync start normally this time and all was fine.

You guys are making me nervous. I think I should have bought the Ford xtended warranty instead of the BS dealer ceramic coating! šŸ˜‰šŸ˜†

I bought extended warranty and I paid a hefty price for it cause I live in good old CA. I think the price was nearly double the cheapest prices out of CA.

That's what happens when dealers give to politician election campaigns.

yeah def not on the steering wheel. And I Can't believe the 24 manual has those instructions when the wheel clearly does not have that button! LOL
Look at the Ford Mustang website. So many errors...and re-use of pictures/lists. This does not surprise me at all...nor does the glitchy new fangled screens. The center screen in the S550 is the glitchiest/most problematic thing in the car. S650 just added more of that.

I have a 2023 Mustang Mach-E, and it has similar problems with the massive center display locking/freezing up periodicallyā€¦maybe 1 in every 50 drives or soā€¦super annoying. Not a deal breaker - but problematic when you canā€™t control your radio, AC, heated seats, navigation, etcā€¦

All of this is software related, not hardware thankfully, so youā€™d think it would be solved via software updates.

I appreciate technology, but it makes me question how modern cars will age in 10+ yearsā€¦.(similar to a smartphone?)

6) why won't the rearview mirror go up further than it does? Im 6' tall, my seat is all the way down and I can't clearly see through the rear view mirror. I need it another 5 degrees up but wont go any further.

4) this is my biggest issue. Where is my front bumper sensor? I knew this in advance and I know I can add an after market one, but why not put one in, especially when there's already a sensor for active cruise control and emergency braking?
This was a concern for me with my 2017 S550 but was never really a problem because I realised I have parking skills without reliance on sensors.

There were plenty of after market integrated solutions available for me then but I never bothered.

My biggest issue with my S650 is no nameplate on the strut brace lol

2) where is my phone hang up button on the steering wheel? Unless I don't know what im doing I can't find a way to hang up through the steering wheel, I have to click the screen.
I agree. Both of our daily drivers have the "hang up" button on the steering wheel. It's a real distraction having to reach for the screen.

There is interference between the back of the mirror and the back of the sensor housing on the windscreen. I have the same issue as I'm 6'1"ish. I had to get used to angling the mirror towards me a bit to allow the vertical height I want.
