Just received confirmation my GT has shipped from Baltimore on the 2nd vessel to Australia, the “Morning Lisa”.
Im absolutely rapt, as nd hope to see here in late August, early September 😁

Congratulations for your GT being onboard the Morning Lisa. My GT is on the Morning Lisa as well and is due at Port Kembla 12 Aug. I have an ETA 17 Aug. I hope the ETA means it is at the dealer on that date. We shall see how that goes. Really looking forward to getting this GT .

Wooohooo! My Dark Horse is built! Just had confirmation from the dealer now. Next is waiting to see which ship it will end up on.
After waiting almost 3 years for this car, I cant believe it actually exists!

Well done. Pleased you have some finality in sight.
My segmentation date is 24 July and Dealer Priority 99. Was yours always DP 1 or did this change with your latest update.

No mine was always priority 1. Not sure if it's that important or just a way for the dealer to indicate which cars they want built first should they have a batch of the same cars ordered at the same time.

Mine's always been priority 1.
When last did you get an update? Perhaps yours is also built?

I got an update yesterday saying it has been pushed to a December ETA just doesn’t make sense as we ordered pretty much at the same time, and I’m still being told I’m first in line. I think I’m getting told some porkies

There's definitely some cars that got pushed back by a month or so. I've seen posts about this for Dark Horse and GTs, both Australian and European customers. I think I was probably just lucky that mine got in before the delay or cut off. Keep your hopes up. I'm sure it will happen eventually. When you've been waiting as long as we have, another month or so is probably not the end of the world. It's going to be so special when we finally get our cars. 👍

I received an update a week ago just to advise my ETA had blown out from 26 Oct to 21 Nov. No other details given. Segmentation date 24 July was from 3 weeks prior. This is now probably later due to current FR plant closure. Waited this long so hanging in there.

Slightly off topic but if anyone plans to supercharge their DH or GT and you live in SA, you'll prob need a special license to drive it.

SA has just introduced a new license class for Ultra High Powered Vehicles (UHPV) that requires you to complete online courses before you're allowed to drive a UHPV.

The threshold is 276kW/tonne - which is high enough that stock DHs and GT's aren't affected but if you chuck a SC on it'll prob exceed this limit.

It equates to about 500kW for a 1.8t car

more government bs. Doesn’t matter how much “education” you get it doesn’t make you a better driver.
