It would be great if the US inventory shortage as above, is due to reallocation to "Export" Production - however that is probably just delusional dreaming on my part.

Could be, or engines got damaged during shipment to FR ? So many theories.

UPDATE: I messaged an employee from FR and confirms return to work date is still August 5th.

With all the cars sitting on US lots, maybe they could just strip the engines and gearboxes out of those for us . But Ford would prob say, nah those are LHD engines and gearboxes, like left handed scissors.

I called my salesperson yesterday to get an update for the delivery date, and if they are holding all vehicles until a certain date. He got back to me today saying

"Hey Jack, ship is planned to dock on the 2nd and the eta to us is the 13th. We have received bulletin from Ford to address the rumors you mentioned yesterday.. it says that there will be no cars held to release vehicles on a common date.. they will be released to dealers as they come.

Their words are. 'To ensure delivery of these vehicles are not delayed for customers any further, we will not be batching and holding these vehicles.' "

Hopefully this is the case. Does anyone from Brisbane with a car on Aniara know what their delivery date it?
