Not sure if it is the last ship. Mine was built 23 Sept 2024, and I finally got confirmation from my dealer last week that it has been shipped.

It is on the Carmen, and it is taking the European/South Africa route, having left Baltimore on 20 Dec 2024 and set to arrive Melbourne on 25 Feb 2025.

Why it it has taken so long, no one can tell me straight, but at least its on its way.
It should be about to pull into the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium on the 6 Jan 2025.

Anyone else on this Forum onboard the Carmen?

Looking at your signature makes me feel a lot better about my own waiting period, props to you for your patience. You're right, Parsifal doesn't seem to be the last MY24.5 shipment.

Tortugas finally has a Docking booking after being diverted from Pt Kembla to Pt Newcastle on 01 Jan25, for Wednesday 08 Jan @ 10pm at Pt Newcastle - after 5 days of frustrating mystery.

Got an update from the dealer... apparently ford is not unloading any cars in Newcastle. Tortugas is heading to Melbourne ETA on the 12th with the cars to be unloaded there.. very disappointed

Unbelievable! The Tosca has been bobbing around waiting to offload cars for nearly one month and the goal posts keep getting moved daily without any explanation.
Very frustrating.

Yes, I got that too, although it was issued before the Tortugas Newcastle Birth/Docking schedule was listed on the Port site (later that PM).

The Tortugas Newcastle Docking has also been re-scheduled to tomorrow (Thurs) at 4pm.

So the obvious question is - are Ford Au sticking with the seemingly irrational, inefficient and costly (just like Albo-nomics !!) of the Melbourne Docking plan - in the knowledge of the opportunity of the Newcastle Docking, Scheduled for tomorrow - or is it possible they unaware of the scheduled Docking opportunity to offload their cars?

Quite the fiasco!

AS much a frustrating fiasco as with the torturous Tortugas!

They are both currently on a voyage to nowhere, bobbing about south of Newcastle, since 01Jan25. (although Tosca did dock at Newcastle for a couple of days)

Mine is on Carmen, when I asked dealer what boat and then I looked it up I was just like seriously I have had so many delays and now it's on the boat that takes a month longer than all the other ships.

Mine is Port Kembla so I won't see it till early March. If it was on the boat that left 3 days earlier I would have it very soon.

Any updates on what's going on with either the Tosca or the Tortugas ?

Both vessels are currently (no pun intended) still floating aimlessly below Newcastle.

Tortugas has been rescheduled for docking at Pt Newcastle to Friday 10Jan at 6.00 pm, however I strongly suspect whoever is handling this at FoA is oblivious of the opportunity to offload the cars at Newcastle, and working off the obsolete Schedule of Melb on 12Jan - which is not going to happen on the 12th.

Considering the ship originated from Baltimore, I wonder what other cars she could be carrying ? Surely she will dock in New Castle to unload some cars... and I wonder what cars other than Ford she could be carrying keeping in mind the originating port of Baltimore. Now only if we/our dealers could engage in a reasonable conversation with someone at Ford Australia !!

Parsifal took the same route and spent 4 days hovering off the coast of Sth Africa waiting for a berth. It's now not due into Pt Kembla until 5th Feb as a result (supposed to be 29th Jan). I suspect my dealer will send me a new ETA in due course.

None yet, 2024 GT ordered - Vapour Blue
Hi all, so I’m pretty irritated currently, my dealer has just told me there’s no black pack available anymore, is this what everyone else is getting for cars they ordered 12 months ago where it was an option? Why they gotta take everything from us 😭 I’m also being told my car is now expected June/july when I was told a few months ago it would be Jan-March 2025
