Considering the ship originated from Baltimore, I wonder what other cars she could be carrying ? Surely she will dock in New Castle to unload some cars... and I wonder what cars other than Ford she could be carrying keeping in mind the originating port of Baltimore. Now only if we/our dealers could engage in a reasonable conversation with someone at Ford Australia !!

Breakthrough !! UPDATE: Mustangs WILL now be offloaded from Tosca and Tortugas at Port Newcastle - today and this weekend !!

Email from my Dealer ".......the 2 boats for Mustangs are diverted to Newcastle. The latest information I received late yesterday was that the Tortugas vehicles are being unloaded today and once received they will be road transported to dealers."

Tosca docked yesterday at Newcastle, and Tortugas Newcastle Docking has been postponed until Sat 11 Jan at 5:15 pm, Departing Monday 4pm.

Kinda hoping mine does the same to avoid Port Kembla. However it's got to get through Melb first

Melb looks to be worst hit with complete stoppage of Qube stevedoring services from 0700 13th Jan to 0700 27th Jan (2 weeks).

Bris will be stopped from 8th-14th Jan

Port Kembla will be stopped from 8th-16th Jan

Darwin and Adelaide have no 24hr stoppage but a sort of go slow

No mention of Freo stoppages in this article (published yesterday)

Does anyone know if QUBE exclusively handle Ford shipments or does DP world and others handle stevedoring of Ford stock as well?

Sorry for the late response, I have used mine as an example below, although as yet no confirmation - which is indicative of it not yet clearing Customs.

VID = Vehicle Identification Number = VIN

They were due to unload from Tortugas last weekend, and Binchicken posted a photo (below) of unloaded mustangs sitting on the warf at Newcastle on another thread a couple of days ago.

Unfortunately I still have no idea if they have cleared Customs - does anyone else on here know?

Ummm... I'm pretty sure Binchicken's photo was taken in Brisbane, not Newcastle

AArrrr ! You are correct - thanks for the correction.

I read this incorrectly as the last drop from Tortugas ("I was at the warf today") which would have been Newcastle.

However I see he is at Brisbane. Sorry about that !!

Hello all,
I just got back from 3 weeks in Thailand. My dealer emailed me on Friday to let me know my car has left port and was on its way to the the dealers (Brisbane to regional SEQ). Mine was on the Tortugas.
Perfect timing. Hopefully.

Anyone on Parsifal? It's left Freo and is on its way to Melb then Pt Kembla.

Due in Melb tomorrow night then Pt Kembla on 26th Jan.

With the Qube industrial action called off hopefully there's no further delays.

Got a Vista update last week, ETA to the dealer is still 5th Feb
