I see you're on Florida. If you're close to Miami or willing to make the drive, I can update the BCM for you. No charge.yeah they are slow with OTA updates
Wow man!! You’re the bestI see you're on Florida. If you're close to Miami or willing to make the drive, I can update the BCM for you. No charge.
Just message me so we can coordinate it. I have several Mongooses, but I loan them out to people all around the country so we just have to set it up during a time that I have one of them in my hands. Updating the BCM takes 10 minutes. If you don't have FORScan, then I can do that part for you, too.Wow man!! You’re the best![]()

Certain changes should be done manually and not in "easy mode". It seems like FORScan is trying to enable the APIM toggle which don't currently work and there is no need for since WAL works whether that toggle switch is on there or not. As a matter of fact. it brakes WAL preventing it from working when you try to toggle the feature on and off. With the release of FORScan 2.3.61, I decided to do more than look around--which is all I did with previous versions. One note up front, FORScan recognized my DH automatically--didn't have to enter (or fake) a strategy code to get in.
To be certain, I'm a FORScan novice but wanted to enable the Walk Away Lock feature (not sure why this wasn't a default or even available setting when I bought my DH). But, no matter.
I also wanted to see what happened if I enable approach detection, which I did (I think?), but to no avail I'm afraid.
Attached is just a cursory look at what I found.
Copy all--thanks a bunch. BTW, I sent you my VIN...when you have the time.Certain changes should be done manually and not in "easy mode". Additionally, have you verified your BCM software is at the level it needs to be for this to work? If not, send me your VIN and I can check.
You do have the right software. Change this:Copy all--thanks a bunch. BTW, I sent you my VIN...when you have the time.
I would do the edit. If you turn it off on the touchscreen, you won't be able to turn it back on.Success...WAL works. However, I had already edited APIM in "easy mode" and disabled "Walk Away Lock Feedback" Once I did, WAL was Enabled (tested, works perfectly) and the slide-button option in APIM display to enable "audible feedback" was gone.
Wondering if I should still edit " 7D0-09-05?"
Sadly, still attemping to get approach detection working.
Possible, yes. If the hardware/software is the same, then it is a matter on enabling the right config. I just don't know what it is, though. Is it possible to enable the lane centering or other features that might be available to cars equipped with automatic, in a manual?
I was looking in forscan last night and found the B&O 12 speaker system has the EQ set to FLAT by default. I also was able to turn on Walk away lock, which blows my mind that its not available in the menu and enabled by default.
