I understand ish what you mean. But that’s what I mean. So, let’s say (arguments sake, I have no clue what I changed), let’s say you originally changed 7E0-02-111. Now, the numbers start at say 7E0-164-011. How would I possibly know which updated number corresponds to the old number I changed?
And also, will reverting to the OEM backup that I saved before editing work now, or it won’t know what to change because it doesn’t exist?
No, it will be (as of your example): 7E0-162-111 ...
You can't use the backup with the newer version (where they fixed the addresses), but you can use a older version to use that backup.

Maybe you just missed a value. Can happen when changing values.

What I do know is that your car has different wire harness than the 301A. It also could be the reason.
I doubled check before writing the changes to all the modules, later when I was reverting back to default values I also verified that the values I typed before were the ones you told me and yes, all of them were fine, I basically triple checked them. So, well, I'll give it a try again in the next couple of days and if it doesn't work then definitely something else is going on in and it may be just wiring.

It will be great that another 300 group owner could try this and see and compare their results, here waiting for another tester.

Yep, that's the only way to find out. Another 300A owner who wants to try.

I'd think that most of people wanting to use ForScan are the ones who like me, has a Basic model and wants other features that come with the higher models, so I'm sure and I hope soon, somebody else with a 300 group model would see this and will like to help us to try to put this to work in all models.

How can I go back to the forscan version I was at?
