you arenāt granting opportunities around here.I gave you an opportunity to quote what Mustang you wanted. You just reposted an old rant. You can't quote price specs or performance of what you want. We all want awesome cars but to keep beating your stick of pie in the sky performance for $55,000 means you are bothered. Sure the Vette is a good comparison but that C8 is awesome. But just because the C8 is awesome doesn't mean the Mustang is bad. Bottom line you are not debating you are just citing stuff to fit your narrative almost like another BOT on here. Well, go ahead and continue, I am going for a drive.
and I pointed to my post because I laid out my thoughts there.
anyone can post up their dream scenario, followed by the whiners claiming it would be too expensive (yet not an issue for GM), too impossible, or some other excuse to be a Luddite. Ford can do better and they can start by not over promising and underdelivering, setting high expectations, then giving us an old car with 12 year old performance.
what Iāve posted so far is a legit critique of the s650 as related to its lagging sales.
I understand such critique will hurt the feeelings of those who bought s650, especially the dark horse. Not my intent, but certainly collateral damage. If I could shield my fellow Mustang enthusiast from this, I would. But there it is. I hope Ford takes these thoughts (Iām not the only one) and gets some true outperforming car guys on the board and on the engineering and design teams and presses the pedal to the medal with this thing. The cruise control is worn out already.
