I just bought a 2024 GT Premium Automatic... 400 miles on it as of today. I have seen a few other threads talking about a brake noise, or a brake creak, but nothing seems to be the sound that I am hearing.
Here's what I have noticed:
Thanks for any help!
Here's what I have noticed:
- Braking performance is not affected in any way.
- It does it when the car is running or not running.
- Sometimes it's louder, sometimes it's softer.
- It has happened from day one (although you never hear these things on a test drive).
- I don't think it's from the brake pedal itself, meaning, I don't think I could oil or grease anything and it would go away.
- It sounds like something is being actuated... or activated... and it happens when you get off of the brake pedal, too.
- It even happens when the car brakes on its own, when I'm not physically pushing the pedal with my foot.
- And, you can actually "feel" it, too. That's hard to explain, but even with the radio on and quite loud, I know it's happening.
Thanks for any help!
