I am curious to see if you store your mustang in winter.

I live in Quebec city and I store my car for winter. Salt, sand and everything else they put on the road will damage too much the car. That's not counting the cost of winter tires. I paid over 70k cad money and I would like to keep my car rust free and in pristine condition as long as I can as this will probably be the last brand new car I buy. I am 65

I have a fusion titanium 2013 that I bought new that I use for my winter driving.

I use my Mach 1 as a daily driver. I put Michelin A/S tires on the car after driving on Michelin pilot summer-only tires for one winter. But I live in Virginia where we don't get much snow/ice. Where you live I wouldn't think of using it as a daliy driver. Mostly I contend with dump trucks dropping crap on I-95 on a daily basis.

@Allanrock59 ..... I do the same thing with my 2024 GT. Winter where you live with salt/brine spray on the roads is deadly for a Mustang. I put mine up from November to April. Even though I do not winter drive I had a clear oil - nonwaxy/non gooey - called Corrosion Free - sprayed on my entire undercarriage. I also purchased the front fender hole repair kit from Hein at DIYvan.com as per the many posts by Tony Unica and others regarding the holes that were left in the front fender liners of 2024 Mustangs.

North Carolina here, I don’t even take off the summer tires, just drive like a grandma if it’s too cold, which isn’t often, especially since I don’t daily commute

I might go as you for the undercarriage. And about those holes. I was reading a post regarding this before I got my mustang delivered and when I did, 07/23/24, I brought it in my favorite garage to look at it and we didn't see any of these holes. I am wondering if Ford fix that?

I live in Northwest Wisconsin. 24 GT Convertible. Yep it’s stored in my heated garage. I drive my 22 F-150 during the winter. My wife has a 23 Outback

Too much salt here in Northern Illinois. Put mine into storage just before Halloween.

I put mine in storage at first snow.

There's the brine solution used. Along with it being a salt, I've found it somewhat tacky, to stay on surfaces.

Grit from sand laid. Most trucks do not have mudflaps, so it's akin to getting sandblasted sometimes.

Ice accumulation throughout the undercarriage, tens of pounds, several inches thick.

The near-black, gritty coating that accumulates on the vehicle sides, like sandpaper.

We can go for weeks without it being warm enough to clean anything outdoors.

It's also something of a break. If I would drive the car every day, I don't think I'd appreciate it as much. Just about the time I really miss driving the car, Winter lets up, I take the covers off and go for a ride. It's like being gifted a near-new car. Bright, shiny and ready for action.

It's a car, I drive it year round and have done so with all 7 Mustangs I have owned. I have winter wheels and tires and summer wheels and tires and swap them in November and March.

I live in Western Pennsylvania. Right now it's 16 degrees with snow on the ground. My 24 GT has been covered and garaged since mid-October. Hopefully it will be back on the road in late April/early May.
When I was a young guy, I had a new 67 Cougar. It was my only car. It sat outside and had the pleasure of winter tires with studs. I would throw a couple of sacks of sand in the trunk for traction. After three years and 60K miles, it showed the signs of winter. It was a great car that was reliable and a fun car to drive. It took me all over the USA from Army post to Army post. I didn't have any other options than use it as a daily driver. It's personal, you know!

I live in Maple Ridge B.C. Canada just outside Vancouver. Both my GT and Dark Horse sleep in there heated garage on battery tenders. I put them away for the winter the first time they put Bryn and salt the roads. Then take them out on nice spring days. I hate the winter exile.
