But it wasn't YOUR DH until you bought it, so ...

Mine had 6 on it when it was first delivered to the dealership. I put some on it, and they did when they gassed it up. Wasn't many, though.
I win, mine had 130 miles. Built in April '24, delivered to a store in Richmond VA. It ended up in a sister dealer store in Warrington, VA. I suspect thy drove it from one store to another. I bought it and took delivery on July 12, 2024. I don't knowhow it got over 100 miles on it, but it was built exactly how I wanted, so it was easy to overlook. Especially since there are way more new cars in my past than in my future!

I guess I'm reminded of David Hume's point about the unnatural state of ownership, namely, "that the principal disturbance in society arises from those goods [Mustang Dark Horses in our case], which we call external, and from their looseness and easy transition from one person to another; they must seek for a remedy, by putting these goods, as far as possible, on the same footing with the fix'd and constant advantages of the mind and body." Though I'm abusing his point a bit, I can manage, philosophically, the "looseness and easy transition" by which the sale was conducted. I am, however irrationally, sometimes ill at easy at the idea of a detailer, tech, or salesman (sorry, "brand ambassador"), none of whom would be, legally, technically, or philosophically, owners per se, ripping up sundry parking lots and drive-thrus in what we might call [dark] "horsing around." So, yeh, not joyriding, strictly (legally) speaking. But, even though I'm now considered the [titled] "owner," I am, in my own mind only (of course), also the caretaker (as far as Hume and more current thought on the ontology of ownership might be concerned). Not all dealer employees would likely recognize that burden as theirs. That's all I meant, I suppose.

The average here seems to be about 18-20 miles. If you actually think about it. 20 miles is a lot of traveling distance just to "test" QC.

At delivery I think it was 16 or 26, need to look at the paperwork.

Mine was 11 miles and I know the dealership drove it to their bodyshop and back a few blocks away at least twice. That's a story for another thread maybe someday.

80 plus on arrival. Car has lots of issues but none related to the mileage that was on it at delivery. I don't know if it's really worth worrying about unless tons of brake dust on the wheels or rear tire tread depth seems shallow or the clutch/trans acts funny at delivery/test drive.

If you ordered the car, that's the highest I've read of on delivery. In the mid-20s is about the average high, half of that being average delivery mileage, half being Ford QC at the plant.

If you did not order the car, but was new stock, I can see that. Test drives, or the drive over from another dealer and their inventory.

Somebody ordered it but ended up not taking delivery. They probably had good reason and I probably didn't see it and made the impulse purchase. Nonetheless, none of the issues with the car seem to be related to any kind of abuse. It's more manufacturing / assembly / dealer service issues that have really ruined my experience.
