I indeed do.

I honestly am torn on him. I truly enjoy some of his humor, and he is well versed in many areas. Just not a fan of his attacks on others in the industry that he does not fall in line with. But it's his platform and nobody is forced to follow.

It will be enjoyable to see when the 7th Gen cars are tunable, and there is money to be made, how attitudes change.
Agreed. I stopped listening because of his personal attacks, calling people nut huggers and ring kissers. Meanwhile, that's pretty much all his fan base does, hug his and kiss his ring. His narcissism just got to be too much for me to continue to listen. I'm a big fan of Lund and what they do with the Mustang, but I really can't stand that guy anymore.

I like his tech. Esp as of late, the 2013 GT he's been doing mods to and documenting it.

But going after people I consider friends in the industry and personally, ya lose me there.

What’s strange is he came from a foxbody background… he should be loving the 2024 and using all the old school hot rod tricks.

But…acts like it’s appalling to run fuel blends and trick sensors etc…

This shit goes back to locked out timing and jack ing up fuel pressure, or bigger injectors with up scaled meter housing.

I think it's 100% that his employer can't make profit from it.. yet...

I mean, I do not like it as much as the next owner, that we can not just run out and get a tune, or have a choice of FI options for the 2024. Granted the Whipple and included tune are doing very well. That is the route I see myself going as well.

I remember all too well the Vortech MAFs with sample tubes.... Hell, they worked.

What gets me, is that any Mustang owner, would hate on the next Gen that is carrying the name. And for the record, there is not a generation that I would not own or drive myself.

Keep in mind that is a truck scale calibrated to weigh rigs at 30-80k pounds. I am not sure I would trust that weight as the margin of error that low could be as much as 3-5%.

I had an E92 M3 that weighed on a truck scale near Carson, CA with a full tank of fuel come in at 3585lbs. Which was light for that car. When I had it corner balanced the weight was actually 3678lbs.
Stock s550 was tested at 11.9, which car publication has ran 11.9 in stock s650?

This, I have yet to see an S650 run quicker than an S550. Now before I get accused of being a hater I sold my S550 to get an S650.

That and Ford won't or don't recognize Lund for what they've been able to do. But why would they jump in bed with a company when their front man bashes them every chance he gets? You're right, he'll sing a different song when tuning opens up and Lund gets to do what they do best...tune Mustangs.

The issue is Ford going to allow non emissions compliance tunes? Ford has the ability for OTA updates.

see this makes me very curious because the LMR video on youtube of their 2018 GT did hit 11.9 but it had a resonator delete, lowering springs and a drag pack to hit that number yet i constantly see people saying "stock" s550s hit 11.9. I get that the LMR cars engine is stock but adding a drag pack and better suspension parts definitely makes a difference so when people say their cars are stock hitting 11.9 it always makes me wonder. and no hate here. I also traded an FBO 2018 GT PP in for a 24 GT PP. While i can confidently say that my 2018 would beat my 24 from a dig (being tuned with headers and full exhaust and intake), i'm also equally confident that my S650 would catch it and probably beat it in real world testing

I’ve seen S550s at the track multiple times as me, and they’ve been 3-4 tenths slower both times now.

Saturday was a perfect example, there was a stock GTpp running 12.3s at 113, the s550 GT was running 12.6s at 111. And the s550 claimed it had a tune for 93 🤷‍♂️

Again and again

No way a gen 3 car only traps 111 (especially an A10 because that's the only car we're talking about anyway)

funny shit happens at the track though. I remember in the old days watching guys in C5's run 14.0's @ 100mph

not flooring it, letting off before the end of the 1/4, who knows what people will do

it's not like they gave Lund special access before. The only reason Whipple probably has it, is because they are using them for the Ford Racing supercharger kit.

I wonder why they didn't team up with Roush again?

Pretty sure Lund or anybody will not be making non-emissions compliant tunes. The scope from the 3 letter mafia is broad, and merciless. They won't even kill CES lights. And I do not blame them in today's environment.

Ford will be offering OTA tunes at some point for us. Will they be earth shattering? Based on past examples, probably not, but if they can add 20 wheel on 93, for a reasonable price, it's something.

My wife’s old A10 convertible only trapped 113 (almost 114) with 600mi.
