Did you make a profit when you sold the vette?

Don't have a Vette right now. I bought my first Vette a 66' in 1969. I have had many since then, an have never lost money on any of them. I don't believe you can make money on a new Stingray today, maybe you can on a Z06 or E-Ray. Most of the dealers in the Phoenix area are discounting Vettes at least $5k, depending on the model. Your area must go for customers that just don't do research on car buying. Don't know about the Eray, but most dealers around here ar 10-15K off on all 2LT and 3LT Vettes. At least 5k off on Z06, maybe more.

Many most likely won't agree with me, but a car with a backseat isn't a sportscar, in my opinion. My Corvette is sportscar, my Mustangs are Pony Cars.

We have year round driving here, so these cars have more demand here. I'm originally from Michigan, and my Vettes went into storage for the winter. Out here in Arizona I have the luxury of a car I can drive any time. As well as my Harleys.

I agree with you to a certain extent. While some Mustangs are Pony Cars, my 2024 GT Premium can be considered a sportscar. I wish I didn't have a backseat though. Totally useless.

So is a Mini Cooper considered a sports car?? How about the Porsche 911, or Mitsubishi 3000GT? Hmm, believe they all have back seats.
