So I bought:

Steeda Mustang Trident Gloss Titanium Square HPDE Wheel Package - 19x11 and the 25 mm spacer for the front
Steeda Mustang Camber Plates All
Steeda Mustang MagneRide Dual Rate Ultimate Handling Lowering Springs
as well as re-71rs 305/35 19 inch tires it is a square set up

I am trying to figure out where to put the alignment for both autocross and street use. Note I work from home so I don't drive a lot anyway but there are times where I will have to. I will be using the wheels and tires that came with the car for the street and using the above setup for autox. I know its not ideal to try and set it up for both as it won't be optimal for either but I don't have much of a choice as it is my daily. I want to be as aggressive as I can with out destroying my street tire. Any suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

-2.5 front, no toe is what steeda told me with same setup. If you call them they can give you specifics.

Are you currently running 305/35/19 up front with a 25mm spacer at -2.5? I’ve got 295/30/19 with 28mm spacer and mine seems pretty close to the fender at -2.8. I’m afraid mine might rub at -2.5. Note: I have the Magneride progressive springs, not the dual rate.

I have the dual rate. This is based on talking to Steeda. I am still shopping for what I want to do but they gave me those specs with those exact wheels and tires. When I was at Steeda they told me those specific wheels and tires would need a "-2.5 camber (possibly 2.7)" with my springs (and a 25mm/1" spacer) and 0 toe. That was the mechanics exact words - a 28mm would push the wheel out more so that may change things. Steeda were the ones that did my alignment when I got all the suspension work done. Also, mine is a base DH with the dual rate springs (as well as a bunch of other suspension work - but that should not matter for the height). My understanding is a base DH and HP DH with the same springs will be the same height and clearance (not talking about front spoiler) - given the same wheels and tires.

I talked to Apex recently about their wheels and they recommended -2.75 on a 25mm spacer with 19x11 and those exact tires. I don't know if that is different for their wheels.

My understanding is the toe is the important part for the wear and tear and setting it to 0 is what will keep it to the minimum amout possible. It will make the ride harsher so I don't know if that is what Kujyy is worried about.

I have the same issue as Kujyy - my DH is my daily too. Steeda said to try 2.5 first and Apex said 2.75 but that the camber will work for swapping tire sets out. The accurate 0 toe being the important part.

How do you like the dual rate springs? How’s the ride compared to stock?

Interesting with them saying 0 toe is important. Jamie at Steeda set my track alignment to .07 overall toe out in the front with -2.7 camber. This is the setup he set for road courses, not autocross, so that could be the reason for mine being a little more aggressive.

I did get quite a bit of wear on the inside of the tires with these settings last year, so I am thinking of trying 0 toe with my new tires to see if it will cut down on the wear. I may lose some of the help on turn in, but it could be worth it if I get a couple more track days out of the tires.

With my tires and a 28mm spacer, I’ve still got a couple mm of extra clearance over a 305 with 25mm spacer (that is ignoring differences in actual widths of different brands.) That was my reason for wondering if a -2.5 would cause any rubbing on the fender given how close mine is.

That is funny. Jamie is who did mine to. I did say I was more focused on autocross with some track but this still had to be my daily. Which may have factored into his recommendation.

That’s probably why. I told him I wanted mine setup for road courses and I wasn’t worried about daily driving.
