@ProChargerTECH can we run longtubes with this kit?
Please go look at all comments, sales person
I have had both kits and here is my experience.

There really is no weirdness with the Procharger, you hear this a lot but once you drive one there really is not that much of a different between the two. Except the initial hit.

Prochargers do sound unique, more of a bad belt on an old car. I even had BADBELT as my plate on my Procharger Mustang. The Big Red Race Valve really makes them stand out though and I will agree when equipped with it, it does sound better than the Whipple IMO.

You're not really going to lose much body stiffness removing the strut bar when we have the 2 beefy strut to firewall mounts. IMO this is a non-issue and talked about throughout the previous years.

This is not really true. As I have said the initial hit might be different, but both will make enough power that traction can be an issue in the first few gears. You will never feel there is nothing down low with a Procharger, atleast I didn't.

You will most likely get the same response from Whipple about headers. I have in the past. Does it mean you can't run them, no. They are just not tunes for them.
As far as telling you not to run a catback then you spoke to someone that doesn't know what they are talking about.

IMO Whipple still is on top for me, you will not get a better tuned FI kit, with great customer service.
so you think have catless long tubes is still ok with the procharger? I’m only asking bc now I’m on the fence about getting one and messing up my car haha.

I would say yes with the Whipple, not knowing how the Procharger tune is I can't say.

If it was me I wouldn't do the Procharger until custom tuning is available if you want to run catless. I would even want a custom tune on the Whipple if I was running Catless LT's, but I would feel comfortable with the Whipple stock tune.

Basically heard what @HWill said above. ProCharger can’t condone catless headers as thats against EPA crap and I bet if you called Whipple you’d hear the same.

I would love the sound of a procharger but the p1x they offer is small. The coyote needs help in the low end and the whipple has the cubes to run all the way through the power band as does the tvs2650 and tops out at 1200 hp with supporting mods. Ive ridden in my friend 3rd gen coyote with the p1x and my other friends 3rd gen with a whipple. I prefered the whipple much more aggressive on the botom. I didnt think i would have but the prochargers power curve did indeed feel off to me.

They have a p1r coming out soon that’s supposed to be rowdy. I don’t think I’d want a D1 on these cars with the lack of low end torque.

In my opinion, if your main interest is just a fun street car, I think you might be better off with the Whipple instead of a Procharger.. The reason being is with the Whipple, you’re gonna have virtually instant full torque anytime you want it so you can just roll into a third to half power and it will be accelerating so fast you won’t believe it, especially if you’re new to the Supercharging world. If on the other hand, you’re talking more about quarter mile times, then you can debate the times each power adder brings to the table.

If as others have stated on here, the fun sound of the Procharger is a main priority, then there’s that to consider. All good choices, just have to figure out what’s best for you.

I had a procharger on my 2014 5.0, p1, big red bov, manual…

Car was fun as hell, probably only 600whp, maybe 650ish, but with the solid axle it would go sideways and hold really well at speed!
Sounded like a street sweeper, no hiding it.

I do really enjoy all the extra TQ from the whipple, but there is really no wrong choice

A boosted coyote is just so damn fun… it does recalibrate your sense of speed etc…
I’d be bored AF N/A now.

small? How much are you looking for?

P1X will make 800-900hp and do the 1/4 mile in 9 seconds at 150mph

How about Roush….I think it may make a little less power, but it sounds so perfect.

We all still waiting for someone from procharger to say if it’s ok to put a kit on long tube headers with no tube for the S650.

There's no reason it wouldn't be.

All the big shops that put Whipples on their 2024's did headers. Heck everyone who's doing a fast bolt-on S650 is doing headers (and you can't get a tune for those either)

It'll just add a little power and you don't have to worry about damaging the ats.

Temps here in fl are high unless you run meth its going to have high iat temps and pull timing. Better to spin a bit of a larger unit lower boost more air less revs. Ill regulary hit 150 plus degrees in traffic on the iat on a good day. Had the same issue on my 3rd gen running na with big ass locked cams tune and long tube headers 3 inch catback and headwork. Friends 3rd gen with a p1sc were high and limits his car to sub 700 unless he runs methanol.

No it's not. You're going to be running E for anything over 700 anyhow.
