I have searched and cannot find a thread in regards to remove active exhaust fuse. This is suppose to lock any of the modes 😋(track) instead of favorites. It showed the location underhood fuse panel. I'm sure it was posted this year. Would appreach it posted to dollybud. Thanks.

there is a fuse for the AE actuators, but here is the list of stuff that fuse also controls: Cooling Fan Relay, Variable Oil Pump, Turbo Bypass Valve, Active Grille Shutter, A/C Compressor Control Solenoid, Engine Coolant Bypass Valve, Differential Fluid Pump, Active Exhaust Motors

Back in the day, guys used to (literally) cut out pieces of their exhaust pipe, put hinges on them, connect them to a manual push/pull control, and run it up to the dash area, and then open and close the cutouts with this manual slider.

Today, we complain because we have to "push a button" to change between four different exhaust modes.

Oh, how far we have fallen as humans ...

honestly, not sure why people even get AE if they dont want the modes. just save some money and dont option it, then use the money to get an MBRP or Roush axle-back

I had a 69 Road Runner and put 2 cut outs both sides. Used 1 bolt to open them. You could see a flame at night most times when wot. Passing a lot cars and would let off gas noice and flame. I didnt do it if I could see a older person driving. Oh to be young again and foolish. LOL🤪
