nah dont think so i tried when i was installing my catch cans could not get it out.

Sadly confirmed. Just a tad different than the S550s and it’s impossible to wiggle out.

I just installed the Steeda brace on my 24 GT. Had my doubts how well it would work but dag gum it was a night and day difference. I'd recommend it all day long to anyone. Easy install then down the road I went. Best mod I've done yet (other than the pull strap to close the trunk minus fingerprints!)

I ordered a Strut Tower Brace from Ebay for $80 and painted it black. It didnt come with a plate in the middle of it, so ill probably just get one from Anchor Room.

Did you add the Ford Performance tag or did it come with the brace? My car came with the brace and 2 empty rivet holes.

I think it’s a Z in the part number, not a B.

I have removed the engine cover with the brace on.

I bought my kit from Amazon. It was a little more $$, but I had been given an Amazon GC. I just got my ‘24 GT convertible 6mt with the 401 package in January as a Ford Gold Oval CPO trading on my ‘16 GT convertible performance package. The ‘16 had the strut new from the factory. First thing I noticed when driving the new one home after driving my 16 to the dealer was how much flex there was in the front end.
Ends up my 401 package had the bar that went from the firewall to the towers, just not the one that went over the engine. If I had realized that, I may have spent less for one of the other brands as I feel I paid for a part I don’t need.

if anyone in south Florida wants that part let me know.

Back in 2015, we did a lot of analyzing because some cars came with the strut tower brace, some didn't... some came with that "firewall" brace, and some didn't. We even learned that if you ordered 20" rims, at least back then, you got a strut tower brace!

I think you got that back brace because you have a vert... not because you have the 401a package.
