HOW MANY G in a straight pull?

Just curious. I haven't really cut her lose 100%. And it's still cool outside. But how many g-forces are you seeing on the dash in a straight line pull? Gt or Dark horse? Manual or 10-speed? I know the dash probably isn't 100% accurate but you got to figure we're all calibrated about the same. So far I've gotten .75 I feel like that's probably at the first into second shift point.

I got 1.2G on a launch once when I was stock with 6 speed manual using launch control. I am tuned on e85 now and cant bang off another 1.2, usually around 1.15. That 1.2G launch I dead hooked like no other time.

I know a 0 to 60 in 4 seconds is quick. But I have no clue if 1 GeForce is quick or 200 G-Force or maybe 400 G-Force LOL. Those numbers don't say anything to me.

G force or Gs is a measure of acceleration, the unit being based around Earth's gravity of ~9.8 m/s^2, or about 21.92mph per second. GeForce is unrelated and refers to Nvidia's line of consumer graphics cards. 200 Gs is basically an instant death, with 400 Gs being an even more instant death, because it means that someone has, for example at 400 Gs, somehow started to accelerate at a rate of 8,768 mph per second.

as for how quick 1 G is, the average person can withstand about 3 to 5 Gs before becoming dizzy and things like "grey out" (where your vision quite literally becomes greyscale), and highly trained fighter pilots can withstand up to 9 Gs for a second or two at most. however, the average person can withstand very high Gs for a very, very short amount of time, but it may still cause damage. in a moderate speed car crash, around 25 Gs is to be expected, and severe crashes can reach 50 Gs or more, with the world record for the highest amount of Gs experienced involuntarily and living being 214 Gs by Kenny Bräck during an IndyCar race in 2003.

for road cars, most high performance vehicles will have their peak Gs be lateral (sideways) and be around 1 G, with the current world record holder for highest G force from a road car being 2.3 Gs from the Donkervoort F22.

in United States software, go to my mustang, auxiliary gauges. G-Force meter should be in the middle. probably not accurate. but I figure we all have the same car so the car to car has to be similar. just something fun to play with. I was hoping everybody would give me a number to strive for. my driveway is underwater so the car won't be coming out for some time.
