I understand ish what you mean. But that’s what I mean. So, let’s say (arguments sake, I have no clue what I changed), let’s say you originally changed 7E0-02-111. Now, the numbers start at say 7E0-164-011. How would I possibly know which updated number corresponds to the old number I changed?
And also, will reverting to the OEM backup that I saved before editing work now, or it won’t know what to change because it doesn’t exist?
No, it will be (as of your example): 7E0-162-111 ...
You can't use the backup with the newer version (where they fixed the addresses), but you can use a older version to use that backup.

Maybe you just missed a value. Can happen when changing values.

What I do know is that your car has different wire harness than the 301A. It also could be the reason.
I doubled check before writing the changes to all the modules, later when I was reverting back to default values I also verified that the values I typed before were the ones you told me and yes, all of them were fine, I basically triple checked them. So, well, I'll give it a try again in the next couple of days and if it doesn't work then definitely something else is going on in and it may be just wiring.

It will be great that another 300 group owner could try this and see and compare their results, here waiting for another tester.

Yep, that's the only way to find out. Another 300A owner who wants to try.

I'd think that most of people wanting to use ForScan are the ones who like me, has a Basic model and wants other features that come with the higher models, so I'm sure and I hope soon, somebody else with a 300 group model would see this and will like to help us to try to put this to work in all models.

How can I go back to the forscan version I was at?

Anybody else with a 300 Group Base Model willing to try the ForScan Changes to activate the Speed Signs detection? Thank you in advance to anybody who can try this and help us determine if our 300 group models are wired or not for this.

I have 300A. Speed sign detection works fine with the 6 line changes in post 521 by sky5oh.

Wow, that's a very good information but at the same time frustrating for me, as I double checked all the changes before I write them and then when I was going to put everything back I checked again su basically in triple checked that I entered the correct values but still it didn't work for me.

Thank you anyways for your feedback, I'll try this again maybe later today or tomorrow to try again just in case.

Using Beta 2.4.17
Did the 2 lines on each module. Then wrote. I didn't reboot like was said. Did the key off key on that forscan asked for.
Then next module of 2 lines and so on.
Speed sign showed after doing the last module.
And it changed on every stop sign I passed

So, is it possible that the addresses to be changed were pulled from Beta version 2.4.17 like yours and I'm using 2.3.65 may have been changing other code and not the ones that must be changed? Where can I download the Beta Version you have? The latest official one is what I have, 2.3.65.

I'll update to the same version you have and will save current modules and data and will do exactly as you did it, the only issue is that I won't be using the car for a couple of days, but definitely will keep you posted about the results. Thank you.

I found the Beta 2.4.17 version and updated my version to that one and did the same changes in the 3 modules and just like you, didn't do the reboot module by module but instead the turn off and on cycle after each write just like I used to do so I basically did now the same you did. I have the Speed Sign on my dashboard so now to wait until I can use the car and try it.

Thank you for the help, I hope this time it finally works.

Frustrated beyond words, still the same, not a single speed sign recognition in over a dozen on Rural, City and highway. Double checked, again, every single value before they were changed, but nothing so far.

Is it possible for you to show the Monroney Label where shows all packages that your 300A group included? Mine is a 300A with A10 transmission, Performance and Nite Pony Packages.
