This might be old news but it looks the the 2025 Mustang GT and DH MSRP's went up another $1K on December 17th. This is on top of the big price increase from MY24 TO MY25. Also it looks like a few of the option packages went up a little as well. No increase on the Ecoboost so at least that's something, lol. Honestly I'm glad I bought my 24 GT as I highly doubt I would buy a 25 GT with these huge price increases. Here's a few articles with the details on the MSRP increases:

The price on this car has gotten out of hand. I get A/Z plan, but even so, this car is extremely overpriced. Dark Horse is excluded from plan pricing, so you are at the mercy of the dealer you buy it from if you want one. I priced a GT Prfemium with perf package, active exh, Cali special and even with my discount, I'm over $60k out the door.

I started my career with GM and ended up retiring from Ford, so I'm fortunate to get employee discounts from both. I had been looking at a C8 Vette ever since they came out, but GM was not giving employee discounts. That has changed now, GM is now offering employee discount, so I'm ordering a 2025 loaded 2LT Coupe. My cost mid $70's. I can't justify buying a $60k Mustang that is worth $40k after one year.

I am glad I bought my car when I did. Configuring one as close to spec as mine (the only thing I could not add was the grabber blue calipers) costs $67,305. That is $6,335 more than the original sticker for my car. That is insane.

Yup this pricing is getting nuts that's for sure. Luckily I get A plan too but my same car would cost a little over $4K more now and I have a base GT with very few options. They haven't even been producing the MY25 Mustang very long at all and already a $1K increase so I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more increases yet this model year.

I originally started out looking for a 2024 Gt premium, but by the time I added all the options I wanted (performance pkg, active exhaust ect.) The car was approaching dark horse prices. Since this was a retirement gift to myself I decided to go for a dark horse premium. I looked online at many dealers for a decent price and found most were not willing to discount much at all even with the 2025's on their way to dealerships. I was about to give up and order a 2025 DH premium until I found out about the $3700 increase and the handling pkg wasn't even avaliable to order untill April. So my search started up again for a 2024. I finally found a few close to the color and options I wanted except they had the Recaro's
( I wanted heated and more importantly cooled seats).
After negotiationg with several dealers i was able to get about 5k off mrsp. That was all the were willing to take off. Ended up getting a premium with 6 speed, Blue ember, Appearance pkg, handling pkg, and Recaro's.
At $72k i feel it was about 5k over priced.
Don't get me wrong I love everything about this car, but Ford is asking way too much. The Mustang used to be a performance car bargain, but now with no competition they keep raising the price out of people's reach.
On their website a 2025 the same as mine cost 82k! I say it again 82k?? They are crazy. I would never pay that. I think they will loose a lot of sales over that. Will we have multiple price increase in 2025 like the 2024's ? Probably

That's why I ordered a 25 Vette instead. I almost looks like Ford is trying to kill off the Mustang. It doesn't make sense to me.

My car that I ordered in June I tried seeing how much it would be last week with same specs and it went from 53k to 60k. Honestly even 50k is too high for a GT.

I agree, I think Ford is trying to kill it off.
If it wasn't for me having to have a manual and a place for the grandsons to sit I may have gotten a vette.
I have seen 8k off on the internet.

This is the problem. The DH pricing has gotten so out of hand it doesn't make that much sense to buy one over a C8 Corvette for the same price.

I’m so glad I got a BASE 300a GT.

43k, 1.5k for headers, 10k for a whipple stage 2.

At 55K all in, nothing on the market can touch the performance/value bargain.

Prices will only go up from here, perhaps slower.
And Ford is going for margin over revenue, they would rather sell fewer units at higher 7-9% margin

Than more units at a 2-3% margin, like in the past.

That's what you get when the car isn't officially imported, but sold by just two resellers (Cavauto and Fioravanti), while the Mustang is a "normal" Ford vehicle. And good luck with the maintenance and the warranty to those who doesn't live near Milan. A Porsche would be more "convenient" under every aspect.

For ordinary maintenance I don't have to go to a car repairman or Fioravanti... any Ford authorized workshop is fine for the first years of the warranty...
I have one 10 minutes from my house! Porsche will perhaps be more convenient for maintaining the used price but even Mustang when you get a special version maintains itself well!
I sold my 2020 Bullitt on Friday and lost just over 10k euros on it, I already knew it wouldn't be a car I would keep forever. Dark Horse will definitely be a Mustang I will keep and invest in for cosmetics and musical pleasure!
The streets are full of Porsches...
