I have a 24 GT convertible 401A and the car has been sitting for a few days which is typical since I have only been driving it on the weekend since I bought it new in July. I just came home and notice this watery spot looking puddle on the garage floor. Things the first time I’ve seen this as I’m always looking at the floor for any fluids. These puddle is located about mid-way slightly off center to the passenger side. I am running a Steeda H-pipe and it’s been on the car for 2 months with my active exhaust. Is this a sign of maybe an exhaust leak?

It appears to be so, yes.

I have factory exhaust, collecting similar fluid at the end tips which then dries.

It could be the exhaust leaks when cold, then seals quickly afterwards. At cool down, the leak returns.

It could also be a full-time leak.

If you can safely raise the car while running, you might hear or feel the puffs.

Probably best to raise the car when cold, start it, then monitor as things heat up.

The exhaust system heats up quickly, so you might only have a few moments before things tighten.

BTW, until you confirm the nature of the leak and that it's fixed, be safe when starting and using the car. If the leak is constant and you're in a confined or steady space, there's the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning from underneath.

Thanks for the input fella’s. I’ll probably take it back to the exhaust shop and let them look over their work to be sure all is good 👍 .

from where you described the puddle could be A/C condensation drain that just has some grime in it? Just a thought.

Ok, hopefully that will be an easy fix for the exhaust shop. I suspect it may be one of the clamps that came with the Steeda H-pipe.
