@DFB5.0 or anyone else that may know :) I'm getting this hose for my Karcher K2
ProPulse Uberflex 1/4" Pressure Washer Hose – Waxit Car Care

I've already got the SGS28 gun with the Karcher connectors (some of these connectors will be obsolete with the new hose)
MTM MSG28 Gun & Lance Upgrade Kit – Waxit Car Care

Do you know if I need any additional connectors to connect the hose to the Karcher itself, I see this kit available but not sure if I need it.
ProPulse 1/4" Uberflex Hose Adapter Kit – Waxit Car Care
On DFB's advice, I also got the Uberflex 1/4" hose and an SGS28 gun.

I had (stupidly) originally bought the SGS28 with the Gerni hose fitting, to use with the OEM Gerni hose.
It didn't take long to realise I needed a better hose (the Uberflex) and QC connectors.

I had the same issue.
Two shifters and/or spanners along with some elbow grease will do it. :whew:

I feel like I need to highlight something that is a big selling feature of these guns, the live swivel at the gun inlet.

I came across someone complaining that the live swivel doesn't stop the hose from getting tangled, that it was just an overhyped feature that was pure marketing bullsh.t. This completely ignores the cumulative benefits of having a swivel at the gun inlet. And I can almost guarantee that person is still using that gun despite his protest,

In some ways, he was partially correct. The swivel won't completely eliminate hose bind, however that's just what hoses do, as someone who used hoses all day long at work, I get the frustration. But the swivel certainly helps the situation, especially when it comes time to straighten the hose back out because it doesn't keep binding on itself.

The biggest benefit of a swivel comes from superior articulation. The live swivel, as in it works when under pressure, makes it easy to change angle of the gun to accommodate different areas of the car. For example, angling up to spray out the wheel arches, or side to side movement when cleaning wheels.

I pointed this out to the guy, but some people are just looking for something to be offended by. I decided not to highlight that his Amazon MTM knock-off gun with its poorly designed swivel and about 20cm of adaptors was probably contributing to his problem. Some people buy on price alone, because it looks the same thing at half the price, right? Then when it doesn't work as they had been led to believe, suddenly ALL products like that are "a bunch of hype". Ha ha, yeah not always.

@DFB5.0 So I took a look at my Karcher hose and I'm a little confused now on what, if any connector I'll need to attach the new hose.

This is a photo of the Karcher end of the hose it is a screw on connector not the plug in style with the clip.

It measures about 20mm

So I'm guessing this connector isn't the right one

Correct the other end, the one that goes into the handgun, on Karcher t the handgun end it has a yellow tab to pull out and release or more expensive karchers have a yellow button to press then give it a good pull.

Cool Ta, I'm changing guns as well so I dont think I need that connector at all, so the M22 14mm that comes with the ProPulse hose, I'm guessing that screws straight on, of do I need another connector as the Karcher side measured at 20mm for the thread. Sorry for all the Qs just wanna make sure I get it right :)

yeah with that hose in the picture, ditch your Karcher handgun and Karcher hose as its Karcher only and would need a different connector to make it work. With that hose pictured connect one end into the Karcher and the other end screws directly onto the stubby gun boom up and running.

Just to update my own post, the hose arrived and the threaded connector on the Karcher fits the M22 14mm hose connection so no adaptors were needed. Hopefully this helps someone else.

I just had a quick look over the internet, where your Karcher doesn't have a hose reel it will be M22 14mm, if your Karcher has a hose reel it has a barb fitting both ends, hose reel Karchers will need some type of adapter sigh.

Anyone used Carpro Fabric 2.0, any issues applying to the heated/cooling sets with the perforations in the cloth?

Can it be applied with a soft detailing brush and wiped down with a MF as I dont have a suitable sponge or foam applicator in the kit bag at the moment
