At first I didn't like the fact that we don't have buttons, but now I love it. It's actually very easy to control and you can use Sync. I like the clean look without a bunch of unnecessary buttons.

Yea, I got used to it as well and overall actually prefer the screens.
Do you know how to control the blower/Fan speed via Sync command?
I have not been able to figure that one out or if it's even possible.

Maybe i am old
I recently drove a Dark Horse… maybe I’m just too old or too simple but doing anything in that car on the screens was too complicated
I felt like an idiot kept on asking the salesman how to adjust things
Glad I’m not the only one
Holy Cow! How old are you folks ! :p

On a side note , the seat fans in these cars are absolutely ridiculously loud !
They’re loud in my wife’s Lincoln too.
#FirstWorldProblems.

@Farmer Fran ....geez you sound like an old geezer. LOL ..... Come on you can get used to that screen in a day then it's awesome.
eh... maybe 1.5 days.

I wouldn’t mind it if it was fast. But going into the car and the OS itself is buggy and slow and feels like it needs a warm up like the engine. Absolutely awful when it’s super hot in the car and it takes you a couple minutes for the climate menu to even load
I can’t disagree with this and especially since you can lose the center screen and not have any climate control.

That’s pretty slick, I may need to look into this.

@sarahestelle ..... yeah I'm in that club too (I can feel the grim reaper sneaking up behind me) that said, I love the tech in my 2024 GT. Full disclosure I made-up some new words when I was trying to move about 800 songs from my old apple iPod through a computer to my android phone and then have it synch to the Mustang's B&O system to allow steering wheel scrolling through my playlist - but I got it done. To be honest, it works better with a c cable than wireless, but both do work.......and the &^%$# car talks back to me. So far it has told me to keep two hands on the steering wheel and that maybe I need a rest. Geez - I get less driving advice from my grand daughter. Who usually wants to go faster and corner harder. She's 15 and thinks she's going to get this car to drive her and her gang in a year. That's waaay too funny.

Having to take your eyes off the road to adjust climate controls (or any other common operation where a button would suffice) is just a bad idea, period. Sure you can use voice commands for some of these things, but there’s no benefit for the user to screen based climate controls (other than fewer buttons, I guess); manufacturers supposedly do it because it’s cheaper for them. IMO, they are tolerable at best and unusable at worst due to the screens not working, etc.

Going here:

S650 Mustang I love this car but the climate controls 1728334049841-3y

shows a grand total for three climate voice commands for setting the temperature. Not a great list lol.

Yeah, some of us are older. Thanks for pointing that out.
A young at heart 64yo here.
I started my interest in cars tuning dual carbs with a vacuum guage on Hemi motors, rebuilding both Carter and Holley carbs as well. Ahh the good old days :)

almost forgot about that. super inconvenient while im driving on the highway to have to look over to see exactly where im pressing is correct otherwise i'll accidentally turn on the defroster to max or turn on auto when i don't want to. one of my main gripes with every day driving with this car so far.

Just thinking …I think the solution is active exhaust to track and windows down… problems solved…

Suck!

Maybe i am old but physical buttons/wheels are just to easy.

While it is not complicated it is just wonky how it works.
I couldn't agree more. Our son-in-law rode with me for the first time this morning. I told him the exact same thing. Very distracting in my opinion.
