I can confirm the updated version of FORScan allows the changing of welcome lighting for the front headlights (I still need to find the values for the tails)

LDCMB:
6F6-05-05 **** **** **** *X**
LDCMA:
6F7-05-05 **** **** **** *X**

Changing the value to 2 enables the Darkhorse headlight welcome effect on unlock. 3 enables the Premium sequence

LDCMB:
6F6-05-05 *X**
LDCMA:
6F7-05-06 *X**

Changing the value to 9 does a standard time out
2 and 3 appears to make the tri light stay on for longer duration.

Edit: Just realized I flip flopped the * and the X format...
Should the number 5 that I made bold on your quote be a 6?
I was looking for the same thing and I got confused with the bold 5.
To me it only make sense if it is a 6.

I also checked the airbag status lighting behaviour as well as the small icon in the dash board when unlocking/locking and all seems to be ok.
However, I used some different values which do not tell the system there are no seats at all:

IPC 720-13-01 "8xxx" "xxxx" "xx--"
IPC 720-13-02 "xx1x" "xx--"
IPC 720-14-01 "1xxx" "xxxx" "xx--"
IPC 720-14-02 "xxxx" "xx--"

That does the job as well.
Why is IPC 720-14-02 mentioned but no changes to the lines?
On the German forum I don't see nothing about 720-14-02.

I also saw that you advised this change on the German forum: IPC 720-13-02 "xx1x" "0x--"
But on here I don't see the "0" on the 1 position of the last block. Is that a typo?

These are the lines that you wrote on the German forum that are a bit different.

Overall attention when you change a "value" with another "value". It's not always, set it to "X" (where X is the value used by someone else). Those addresses are bytes, words, longwords (talking about programmers nomination), when you change a "byte" (a value), most of the times, you gonna change a "set of functions".
To make it short, a US (or in general any other market) car may have different stock values than a EU car, so to activate (or deactivate) a specific function the rule is: read YOUR values, check the stock functions activated on your car (on the spreadsheet) and then change those values according to YOUR car, to preserve the stock settings you don't wanna change.

14-02: In US forums were discussions whether to touch 14-01 and 14-02 at all, so I guess I listed 14-02 without changes to show that I intentionally did not change any of its values.
Added a note now. As in Germany 14-02 was never mentioned before, no need to show it if changes were never discussed.
The 0 in 13-02 in German forum might have been a remainder of the initial "all zeros" which was suggested here and on other Ford Forums. That 0 however was a default value in my AB.

Okay cool. I was waiting to see if all is good before changing it. Going to change it today, thanks.

I didn't change the seatbelt yet, for some reason when I sat behind the wheel with my laptop, I was like, naahhh, I'm leaving it for now.

But I did change are:
- enabled Frost Tell Tale
- Auto Lock when driving
- Window close with remote

I have 2 thing.

1. Auto Lock when driving was disabled on my Canadian Mustang. I thought it was standard.

2. Closing the window with the remote does NOT work., even after changing the lines:
APIM 7D0-09-01 xxxx xDxx xx--

Is there anyone who can close his windows with the remote? It seems like you can only open the windows, but closing is not working.

@Fruitstang

Is your Mustang originally from the European market or North American market?

Today I changed Traffic Sign Recognition to the European model so that it will recognize European speed signs.

Everything worked well, my car now can read European traffic signs. But when there are no signs to read on the road, it shows the American white rectangle speed sign instead of the European one. This is just a cosmetic thing and does not do anything bad.

Then I noticed on 1 of your pictures you posted, the same American speed sign shows on your screen as well. That means it could be 1 of the 2 things.

1. Showing the American speed sign is normal on all Mustangs, so there is no way to change that speed sign to the European one.
2. Your Mustang is from the American market as well and you also have to find the adress in Forscan to change that.

See pictures below, 1 when the TSR reads the sign and 1 when there are no signs to read.

I'm pretty sure mine shows two dashes in a white circle in that scenario.

Hmm.. than I still need to find the line in Forscan to change this one out. It's just a cosmetic thing because everything else works.

Anybody know if it’s possible to enable speed sign recognition on a base? I was playing around with it yesterday but couldn’t really figure it out. That’s assuming if there’s no hardware limitations.
Correct me if I'm wrong but reading all posts after this one it seems that this have answered yet, I mean, is it possible to enable the traffic/speed recognition on a Base non premium model?

I've done most of changes I wanted to my 301 group with performance package 2024 model. With ForScan I've added the welcome Lightning, Walk Away Lock and Relock doors and I've put some mods, OEM All weather mats, OEM leather Seats, aluminum pedals, MBRP Street Version Cat-back and I've ordered and waiting for the OEM Sun visor with Homelink and the Full display Speedometer, so as you can see I've been very busy adding most of what I missed on not having locally available the color and Premium and Performance package I wanted, but I'd really love to add the speed signs recognition.

Does the car has the camera for it to work? If it does I can help you set most things up.

Thanks for your reply and your offer to help. Been honest I really don't know what hardware is needed for it to work, but now that you mention a camera it makes all sense, but now I'm really afraid I won't have it cause it makes no sense that Ford will install from factory a camera that it wasn't intended to be used.

Where does this camera should be located so I can take a look later when I have a chance? Thank you.
