This is ridiculous that every time I start up I have to reset the steering to sport and the exhaust to track

You don't have to set them both back from the start.

Make a profile where sport steering and track exhaust are set together. Then you only have to select the costum mode and all your settings are selected in just 1 hit.

Takes two clicks on the steering to go to custom profile.

Found this to be the easiest solution. Favorite button turns auto hold on and off as I have a love hate relationship with that feature.

You guys are lucky.
As per regulations from 2024 onwards, here is the routine for someone in the EU each time we start the Mustang :
. Turn off automatic audio alert for the speed alert (including if one drives at >30km/h in the city)…
. Turn off automatic lane assist
. Turn off driver assist mode (hands on wheel !)
. Finally, put the car in the actual drive profile we want.
One wonders why the EU is not popular…

You can all set these features to US settings in Forscan.

Not to get all puritanical on you or anything but you’re not getting ANY car with ‘track’ exhaust as the default, it would never pass government regs. Also, you shouldn’t be injudiciously driving everywhere in track exhaust mode. We like it, legions of soccer moms don’t.

Like @Oiled said ; 2 clicks and you’re in sport mode.

Once I shared some Forscan values with a person here on the forum, I think it was @sky5oh

But because the lines were not specific for his car since he copied someone elses values he ended up having track mode exhaust no matter what setting it was on.

So it is possible to have track mode exhaust as a standard. But I don't think you want some errors that come with it as well haha.

Correct, I had track exhaust saved as my favorite button, and when I swapped my values to a non valved exhaust value and pushed the button I heard the valves actuate then turned the car off and back on and it seemed like the car just forgot that it had it as I didn’t hear any audible changes. I however did not check visually if they were still open.

This has been a complaint going back to the new S550 in 2015. Selectable drive modes, steering, and the later active exhaust never save when you turn the car off.

You can however, use the custom button on the S650 for your preferred exhaust setting.

The cockpit-like experience of the S650 is like preparing for takeoff each and every time! LOL
IDK, It takes a minute to warm the car up anyway, so I don't mind. The only thing annoying is that the screen can load so slowly so if doing multiple stops that can be rough.

I unplugged advancetrac altogether. I turn the car on, turn off autostop button, turn drift brake on (which puts it in my custom mode with all preferences selected) No need to sit there and set drive mode, exhaust, traction control, steering. My method is pretty quick.

For really always track mode, you could pull the plug on the valve actuater as they stay mechanically open afaik.
There are small adapters available who disguise as actuators so no errors will be detected.

Auto start/stop button can be pushed together with engine start button, no need to wait until the engine started.

Thank God I don't have autostop on mine.

But yeah, 2 clicks of a steering wheel button isn't a big deal.
